Life’s not the greatest
Right now
Caught between a
Lifestyle of chances
Needing deep down
For things to turn around
One more log on the fire
before i turn in
yet the smell excites me
to watch open flames dance
lively in the fire ring
Lord, please turn the heat down up there

Alone at the crossroads again,
a bug trapped in a jar,
I watch by Her window
for a world that refuses to appear.

Say seven words
to send me heavenwards
heavy holiness heats
as the heavens turn

MORE I SEE YOU
She was my dearest mommy
smarter than any swami
a turn of bad luck
was hit by a truck
now she thinks she’s pastrami
tired of haunting
through your dreams
I' ll turn myself back
into my flesh
there is no other place
more plenty of you
When those senses: soul and love again exist -
We have the right to know how no longer -
Will matter turn back to brains!
Hit the ball and watch it fly
Existing somewhere in the sky
Hopfully closerto the green
Or else one can turn quite mean!

for you were born a

and you grew
to be a lion
I'd turn the other cheek, but here's the thing
that cheek's been slapped before, and there's the sting

a road calling
don't go
listen to me
big fire is waiting
desires turn into torture

Up above in Heaven high, God must sit with a heavy sigh, he must cry when so many turn
away, and go without him day by day.
