No escapees from this tornado
July and August so busy
Disheveled yards and faces
Trampolines blown over
Wind chimes blown to bits
Tearing things up
Ominous
Kansas

The windows open to June-like breezes,
trampolines, piccolos, French-braided hair.
Another bag of kettle corn burns
in the microwave. I don’t care –
I feel like turning the lights off,
telling ghost stories.
Her stoned brother asks for munchies;
I burrow further beneath fleece blankets
and wish I could be young forever.

My love, come down
from the act of killing
the sincerely
of tributes.
Your cousin's
been jumping
on trampolines
of her own making,
like sweet devoted.
How rhyming
I have heard
is magically
unseen,
like spokes
in a bicycle's Tyre.
Fanatically
and rapidly,
on a pavement,
slamming pressure,
into opposed virtue
since days of our youth.

Lately, in my dreams
I'm doing backflips
On trampolines
Vaulting higher than high
Bouncing off
The springy sky
Free from gravity
Of worry
As the ground
Falls off my feet
I careen
To the beat
Of tambourines
Tail lashing
Lavender flashing
Pom-pom sized
Orange eyes
I'm as free
As I want to be
Lately, in my dreams.

Am a troubled SOUL,trapped in a PIANO, by an HARPSICHORD
I STRING literal NOTES,my Te amo,
she left me dis-HARMONY,
My heart co-nun-DRUM
Its agony,TRAMPOLINES and Brass-Caps
She was my CYMBAL of hope,
the BEAT to the tints of my Night-caps...
She was my ELVIS GUITAR, tho Pricey',
She was Treasured,and Honoured,,
My MELODY,tuned to perfection,
ACOUSTIC sexually,pure SONIC and DRAMA...
My Prima Donna
