It is not the truth.
long misunderstood,
long touted among the faithful
in poetry and song.
Understandable and beautifully said,
but
just plain wrong.
There is no separation.
God, in any name or concept,
does Not walk beside you.
God walks as you,
in you.
This truth will always be true.
Every Spring they march relentless
ugly as sin and almost scentless
My well-groomed lawn devastated
annual ambitions again frustrated
'Cos' 'Wendell's Weed Killer' didn't work
though highly touted by expert jerks
At $65 a bag, the stuff wasn't cheap
with joy I sowed, in tears I reaped
But not to worry, I'll pick a bouquet of 'Dandy Lions'
for my wife next Sunday ~ 'With Love from Brian'
I am early to my appointment
I was nervous that I might not find it
My history of being lost is easily touted
Even GPS does not help me all the time
Frustrations of my past failures have propelled me forward
I walked in an hour early, no surprise to me

And bristles? Why are hackles raised.? Why
Are heckles made.? Why shout about odds.
If the numbers aren't stacked.'
Its what it is
Or is for some? That the rub.' If its not that
Malleble.? Then they show not love.'
Although in the halls of power, are virtues
Touted, in a ( broad aside ) they
are quite usually, and most wilfully flouted.'
