Scared I Would Get Lost Again

I am early to my appointment
I was nervous that I might not find it
My history of being lost is easily touted
Even GPS does not help me all the time 

Frustrations of my past failures have propelled me forward
I walked in an hour early, no surprise to me

As it is what I do wherever I go.
Refusing to give myself a break
And admit I have only been lost three or four times
This is once again one of those hundreds of times I was not lost.

L Milton Hankins August 4, 2021 at 8:25 AM (chuckle) funny. I have gotten lost several time going to some appointment and have to ask someone where I am. It's embarrassing, but I think it happens to all of us who let our brains multitask. Caren Krutsinger August 5, 2021 at 1:16 AM I have to admit I am always an hour early, even to school. It used to be a normal thing, but last year I had two new principals and they both looked at me suspiciously
