a tortured soul
has lost it's hold
on body
and a mind
as years foretold
of wintry cold
so sorry
I'm inclined to be
-unkind
With a rhythmic spell,
Quasimodo sounds his bell
In his tortured hell,
Esmeralda hears him yell
From his hunchback prison cell.
Listen to poem:
caught up
in the abyss
of grief
falling
falling
forever
falling

Us tortured souls.
Do not deserve to be tortured more.
In our short moments of bliss.
Which are respite.
And not sin.
The dimness of the light
Gave the room a spookiness
Dimmed by a lampshade
Made of tortured skin
Tattooed numbers tell the untold story
I neither want nor enjoy the role
Of being a tortured soul
Not sure if I’m doing right or wrong
With no real clue what's going on
as rain beats against my window pane~
thoughts of an old love plague my brain

I have a yearning
To break out of confinement
The tortured inside
The painful layers of fiery hate
Breakout of prison, be freed
Russell Sivey
Tortured, the mute cries......
dead Elephant, tuskers removed.....
the agony of cut Trees .......
Faith has all but
Left this heart
This ravished soul
That's been torn apart
A tortured mind
That's all but lost
How to deal
With heavy cost
Walks on the line of ineptness
Treacherous and unstable footing
Pain is the fuel for complacency
Tortured, but unbreakable
The location of no escape
Dark and sour feeling
Festers inside me, intense
Scraping parts of me
That are irreparable
Hurting my tortured old soul
Russell Sivey
Stripped, abused and tortured.
Help me, my life's but one -
Don't let it slip away!
Authors notes
Enforcing a picture and or meaning in 15 words.
In the loudest moments of silence,
I can hear the screams of my tortured soul.
As I traverse my destiny;
with the ease of a pallbearer,
walking on icy ground.
The Last Ride
There once was a girl named sally
Tortured by a backside tally
She dreamed of a trike
Instead of this bike
As she stared at this death valley
pronunciamento
poetry ever born free.
even written in ice
on prison walls,
tortured to silence.
feared by those dead
who would
chain our souls.
it is still free.
we are but shadows
of who we are
shadows tortured by hot sun of capitalism
where is cool water of democratic socialism
cool river
waterfall
to free my soul.
Eyes staring at the fading sun
as my lover sailed away
tears became the shoreline
she hated my tortured mind
I hated the river
of depression
The river waved good bye
Who in hell is Victoria Smith?
A depressed young teen tortured
Praying for death,
A man craving to be
Victim, hapless and abused
A sad poet masochist ?
Is she weird or what?
I'm a tortured man. I'm a tortured man.
I can't believe I am who I am.
My life's a mess.
I'm bored with sex.
I'm a scrawny little guy with a big Adam's apple neck.
I'm a tortured man.

Troubles truly come to anyone
when he is in stormy weather.
He's really in stressful form
because of depression.
His mind is tortured
by anxiousness
and worries
about
life.
Haunted I stand
Undaunted by my future
Tortured by my past
I don't think it will last
So I'll expel all my sorrow,
I'll keep moving towards tomorrow.
The future I hope I see
In you.
Form:
the demons within destroy without
we look, consumed by flame
cackling at the peoples tortured shout
laying on them all the blame
lost inside a hellish prison
anger flares, consuming all
Form:
Cascading rocks, orchestrating
The banging, booming beats
Of my broken heart
Violins become tortured echoes
Through gaps between sleep
As darkness falls
It all falls
Comes down upon me.
