Goethe had a colour theory

Kandinsky was one thus inspired
abstracted thereby 'til he expired
German Dutch Peter Lely
found England the place for he
Portrait painter to the royal&rich
his talent thereby found its niche
The
painter
creates the
appearance of
things-
we
thereby
see each of
them in a new
light.
An ekphrasis after Kirchner
her of a soul
him to a body
living in the mind
thereby the I drama
where the Me negates death
praying a spacetime
on point One of Paris
The
painter
creates the
appearance of
things-
we
thereby
see each of
them in a new
light.

There spelt some say so badly
acceptance might be taken sadly
but
Why should accuracy matter
writing talking of delusion
thereby compounding a fault
stroll within my picture..
thereby be a part
understand me
love what you see
reflection,makes me whole
no writing or talking..
only looking..and looking
A lim'rick needs to be anapest
or maybe not; for I'll now suggest;
it may talk amphibrach
and thereby walk the walk,
but don't use those iambs or the rest.
Dorothy (nee Rothchild )Parker once for poetically famed
for penning quatrains much acclaimed
With humour she did animate
& formally elegant poetry thereby create
There spelt some say so badly
acceptance might be taken sadly
Or maybe not
Why should accuracy matter
writing and talking of delusion
thereby just compounding a fault
There once was a monk with a wave
Who desired a head with a shave ...
Well, the barber was such
That she cut back too much
Thereby leaving his globus concave
There spelt some say so badly
acceptance might be taken sadly
Or maybe not
Why should accuracy matter
writing and talking of delusion
thereby just compounding a fault

An ekphrasis after Kirchner
Do man's laws for humanity apply
To the vast extent of the universe and thereby
Connect us to the stars
When we journey to Mars
Does this star stuff exist and underly
each immersion a hypnotic trance
within which we are alive and awake
having relinquished residual free will
thereby becoming a witness to self
by merging our soul with Holy Spirit

Here lies Clyde now expired;
Another man's wife he desired;
The man pierced Clyde's ticker with a knife,
Thereby, making a widow of Clyde's wife!

None but Allah has made the stars for you in the sky
So that you may follow the right way thereby
In the darkness of the land and the sea!
In fact we have made plain Our communications
For the wise nations.
I think
therefore I am
Don't overthink that
I am
therefore I exist
Whatever...
I LOVE
thereby lighting up the world
Ah, now you're talking
You are
therefore I am
You're just too clever...
stroll within my picture..
thereby be a part;
understand me,
love what you see;
reflection,makes me whole,
no writing or talking..
only looking..and looking
inspired by
kandinsky,rothko,monet,demuth,and macke
each pulse of light, surprise delight
if we be not shrouded in fright
recognising earth life transience
thereby with joy in resonance
bliss from which soul never alights

stroll within my picture
thereby be a part
understand me
love what you see
such reflection
makes me whole
no writing
or talking..
only looking..
and looking
and
looking again
He wraps
His words
In flowers
And tenderness
That they might
Come to rest
Gently
In her heart,
Thereby speaking
The unspeakable.
Their sweetness
Lingers long
After
They are whispered,
Sustaining her
Until that time
Holy Spirit
pervades form
we call it God’s grace
thereby as yet separating
essence of presence from source
whereas in truth we are That
love and light and bliss
vivifying body-mind
which we ensoul
to feel duality
wait
awhile,
rest
remain
dream...
stay
in the
moment,
drift
into
tomorrow
Words,thoughts inspired
by Acker Bilk's 'Stranger on the Shore' YouTube clip which thereby forms a part of this poem
The paradox remains that
No matter how much I wish to love
And be loved by another
It would change the world I now know
Thereby changing the me that presently wishes
Would it then be better?
Sometimes fantasy is better left as fantasy
