Odyssey of the Sprite
Civilians who chant “liquor store blues”
within a Memphis alley way
Where the classical band plays
From dusk till dawn
Would lack intelligence
Should they be taught
That she resembles a foul sprite
For some wild centaur....

Sagittarius (Astrology Acrostic)
Spiritually inclined
Altruistic to the nth degree
Generous and kind
Intellectual, yet carefree
Travel a lifelong love
Thighs like a thundering horse
Aiming for the stars above
Ruled by Jupiter’s course
Irrepressible, friendly and happy
Unselfish and never a bore
Sagittarius, the Sagacious Centaur...

Premium Member Chiron of Centaurus
Chiron the wise centaur wounded and in agony was enthroned in the sky by Zeus - spared pain for being kind. Chiron half-man, half-beast had more the heart of a god - so from his own gateway of stars shines down forevermore. A Devils Trick
Blind to the danger before me
Standing with the precipice beneath me
Once a captain lost at sea
Now a babe, I cannot see
The Sirens try to seduce me
The Centaur tries to conquer me
To no avail
I stand before the finish line
With clinched fists in hand
The wind is strong
The air is thick
To write all wrongs
Feels impossible
Like ones folly
Like a devils trick....

The Merchant's Lady Ii
We know not of that Woman,
though ‘tis known that for years
she has begged for death.

once the castles are built,
their emperors,

though drunk on sex,
and branded by adulation,
shall ascend.

but does fame bespeak
an eternity of pandemonium?
Perchance....

Visions and Tales
A true Banshee knows how to kick some tail
Leprechaun's give and take, but never full sail
A Centaur speaks with the truth, to no avail
Ask a warlock's mistress, likely she won't tell

Aphrodite's abides only to her clientele
She'll put you under a most powerful spell
Wizards conjure the demons from hell
Warlocks are able to escape their cell

Cloven witches remain to ring the bell
Dark shadows create visions from Hell...

Past Lives
Merman in a tide pool
Mermaid of my mind

Gallup me unicorn
Center my centaur

Mysticism in myth
Is it real?
Not now, but maybe before

Once a unicorn
Today I canter
Towards my destiny

Now a maiden
Washing her hate away
In the waves

Roll me tight, ocean orgasm
Salvation is in your frolic
Saturate my satin bodice
Salt me in your water
I, in your liquid folds
You, Mother Ocean an envelope
of movement
Crade me to serenity...
