In the Land of Strangers
In the land of Strangers,
where loneliness seeps in,
susceptible to dangers,
I heed to the Voice within....

Susceptible To Stains
When you think about it
Surely
White is more
Susceptible to stains
Yet to lover
Appear's as blind
So conning the mind...

If only hate was a virus;
we could immune
ourselves with love
that is pure.

Pity,
it’s a social disease—
susceptible to treatment
but impervious to cure....

A Prophet : Defining the Term
A Prophet is not one who can predict future acts.
He’s given the grace to see and relate the facts.
To those who are blind,
he appears most unkind,
And is susceptible to all kinds of attacks....

Chasing the Unworthy
Finding the existence of something which never existed,
Heart went on and on despite the mind staunchly resisted,
'Kind-heartedness' was the one considered to be vulnerable,
'Presence of mind' became the one to be contrarily susceptible!...

Young Love
* Oxytocin pours: illusion of heart is it real or not how long will it last perhaps forever? susceptible to anguish now likely to hurt; his heart frozen dare she leave dare she stay dare she love one thing matters: hope

I am too susceptible to poetry
a perfect metaphor
wakes me from stupor
and a clever rhyme
takes me to the sublime
while an elegant elegy
drives away my lethargy
but a mismetered sonnet
makes me hot under the bonnet.

Yet for all these wonders
I struggle to be free
and usually draw a blank....

Fallen
Furocity - it boils within the very vessels in essence
Bursting esteemed love, susceptible in it's unwavering
Vulnerability
Purity abreast of angelic fortification so easily crumbled
Shattered as splintered crystal fury slashes altruistic tracts
Lively divine power, immeasurable, snuffed by frailty
Resentful vengeance's suffocating unrelent....

What Have We Done
Due to currency i mourn the death of courtesy.
It has spawned greed to help hate, lies, and corruption feed.
Causing the few's wants to be more than the many's needs.
Even children are susceptible to its toxic seed.
When in this world, compassion is just a fantasy.
The never filling void engulfs empathy,
and no one is able to see beyond the word "Me"....

There Is a Wind
There is a wind,
an ageless wind,
blowing with a malevolent motive,
sweeping susceptible souls-
a multitude of them-
like pieces of paper
to where they abhor to be.

I know I possess no power
on my own
to withstand this wind,
but I beseech thee,
oh Lord,
grant me grace
not to waver,
but to stand solidly
till the trumpet sounds
or till my earthly journey ends....

Love Has No Age Limit
Never let your life become mundane
Whatever you have witnessed
There are more wonders to see

Life has barely read a chapter
So turn over the page and as you do
Look carefully and it will set you free

Age doesn't make you any less a child
Your eyes have been open longer
But no less susceptible to awe

Love has an ageless soul
So let your heart cave in
See life's beauty and love once more...

Change
‘Change’
Eager to change?
Not really.
All you are is susceptible to society.

God forbid we feel what you feel.
There’s no such thing as anxiety.

Lock your doors and close your windows.
We don’t want to hear the cries of widows.

Live in a perfect world.
Where there’s nothing to change
Because that’s what brought an end to every great dynasty’s fame.
                        - Amna Tariq....

Returning
I envision the very first
Uttered words of Man ascending
Like misty vapor suspended
As endless cloud-filled vibrations
That eventually rain down
On forthcoming generations
In the form of inspiration;
Imbuing the susceptible
Psyche with imaginative
Powers of profound expression;
The maker of philosophers,
The artists, writers and poets
Whose effectiveness must return
To its primal source whence it came....

Mortality
Torrential rain dipped
The beautiful land in tears .

Rivers roared , tarnishing the obstacles in its growth .

Floating tree in water
Carried an half broken nest .

Love bird cried in search of its beloved .

Decayed corpse scattered around ,
Revealed how liveliness drowned in carnage .

Poet sung the song of cessation .

Saint preached the sermon of severing .

When sinful mind susceptible to grim ,

Inner being still in search of eternal ....

Substantial quadrants of hate

Throughout these veins circulate

Spiraling in frenzied states

Adrift an ailing coma

Infinite corruption clawed my corneas

Birthing the erasure of euphoria

Imprinting trademarks of memoria

Leaving in wake vile aromas

All confidence dissolved to solvents

Due to definitive involvement

Susceptible to gaunt installments

Marring my skin with melanoma

Mother Earth serves as a mime

Humanity must be refined...

The Brink
Unpredictable, never typical.
Maybe I'm criminal, don't know it all.
Sitting on the brink of the unknown,
I slip forwards into the fall.

Insanity, not part of humanity.
All on my own, no parachute.
Chaotic, severance of mind.
Don't want to embrace the wind.

Emotional, and susceptible,
To influencial darkness.
Feel the hours go by,
As I fall deeper in pain.

Incapable, not intentional.
Embarrassment to myself.
Trying desperately not to cry,
As I fall into this impact....

Premium Member Surveying the Storm
variety of size, limbs
once helpless in the wind,
a haphazard torrent of leaves.
no pleasantries in rescind.

moss, plush with bouncy roots
tripartite surgery of bark,
sans clean cut.
ground level hallmark

apartments, at close inspection,
varmints inhabit an oak.
how do trees survive the dark
when susceptible to croak?

the yard with all its idiosyncrasies,
a social distancing playground
for a curious player of minecraft —
a five year old’s hardly earthbound.
