Premium Member Shadow of a Mouse
Last night,
a spirit moved along the ceiling...
I followed it
through cat eyes.
   It moved slowly
like a winter spider
or sower in an oil painting.
Was it a surveyor from heaven,
a hell sent scout

The bald eagles soar
    looking for movement at sea...
       fishing from on high.

High up in the air
   they joyously bob and weave

The last man standing my head held high
My mind fill the ether like clouds in the sky
Outside the box a lateral surveyor
No god will answer my prayer
A freak a weirdo, just a little bit off
For all that berate me
You can all do your worst
Your pitiful lives are all your own curse...

Dawn, with gauzy garments bright
Her gentle fingers gently pull the light
From the secret bosom of the night..

In the glade , in silent splendor stands
The stag, surveyor of this forest land
King of that singular moment grand

Pearls on drooping fronds of green
Bowed in supplication so they seem
Just one moment in this misty dream

This single day awakes with humble pride
With His breath it's constant guide
Letting morning's quiet peace abide....
