You are my muse
Yet you come like a coffee without sugar
And cigarettes
Enjoyable
But never enough
You leave me longing for more.
Staring at the greys
as they hide the splintered blues
Close my eyes
and feel sunlight tendrils
wash across my face
and for a second
sadness is replaced
On this sunniest clear day of a lovely afternoon,
I just seen a dog riding in a car barking at a raccoon,
