Water, is the condensation of creations vapor 
and it's aspiring witness, 
it's embrionic fluid, placenta and child. 
Perspiring to be as valiant, as it
wields its unsheathed.
Bares it's teeth and streaks,
runs to and fro,
goes where it pleases,
taking a leak.
I guess it goes to show,
clearly, there's disclosures dew
to subject matter....

Before my mind so guides
The words come out, they are so formed
They pour from deep inside

The subject matter, matters not
For it will all make sense
As half way through I’ll read aloud
To see just where I went

At that point then, I will decide
On where this write should go
But, until I reach completion then
My mind won’t even know...

Spiritually thought amaze 
Only brought teachings of the heart

But what is the wordsmith

That suffers for his art

I hold that whenever the wind blows for instance 
   if it goes  the goes follow me to settle and perhaps 
   progress tomorrow 
  thus sometimes it may not matter the corner of the world 
 or how morning or afternoon or evening?, 
    I know it is sometimes glassy and bartering and unquit
 stone?,   well, what matters, matters most the soul 
   is gold never to waste like time like something?, what 
  thing is good for it now?....

That can be used in many ways.
In a poem, subject matter is not the issue;
Depth of imagination
And its articulation into language is,
And the imagination is free
To follow whatever subject matter
It finds compelling.
Poetry functions as a way to remember,
But a poet must realize and understand
The difference between memory and nostalgia
And find and use language
That is most befitting for either situation....

Things that enrich, not just flatter.

Like waking to see a new day
Inhaling sweet breaths of life
Thirty-three years as a wife
Two daughters and grandkids, I pray.

When thankfulness is the center
Of your attitude year ‘round
The change in outlook’s profound
You’re open so joy will enter.

At three-thirty we arose, to trumphet chatter,
It was hard to determine It’s subject matter.

None of this, to us, was making any sense,
now sleep is gone and so is the suspense. 

 We’ve trouble dealing with situation at hand,
Army life isn’t close to what we had planned.

As “Cruits” search for solutions we endure pain,
and do our best at hiding our disdain.
