Night Sea Masquerade

Seven By Seven Poetry Contest

Night Sea Masquerade

the moon takes on a new form
on water closing her mouth
their imposing other tides
she's a belle over the sea
her shadow bulges in waves
at night you never can tell
wringing audience, ringing

You did great, congratulations! My last line wasn't a hook, so I goofed there but love what I wrote in terms of my son/Peter Pan shadow sewing memories. Can't regret that I now have a poem about that. Write on, Paige Sage

' she's a belle over the sea. ' There's something magical about this thought. It is to me, anyway. You always paint such vivid images with your words. My best to you, Paige. Hugs, Brandy
