A marionette
A marionette of the void
Aware of the needle like strings,
Stranding on the edge of light
Yet covered by the veil of hollowness
A woeful homunculus, gazing at the abyss...

No More Balloons
So this our time
Our time to know the unknowable
But time stopped
with this dagger to the heart
delivered from a stranger's lips
How long knowing takes
with numbed minds
and shattered thoughts
You tore a gash in time
stranding us in pain
you exchanged for your own
Future unreachable
Past unchangeable
when
on the breath of a balloon
you gave your life away...

Winter winds start blowing snow on the road and icy patches make the asphalt slick, sending cars careening into the ditch. Their tires spinning, cars end up in the ditch though city trucks apply salt to the road; for there's no grip; the pavement's still slick. Wild Love Horses
horses
wild horses
they sleep stranding
but no one understanding
when two wild ones love
they meet up each night
two bodies
one sky
one bed
stars
one blanket
two heads
one cloud
four eyes
one hungry stare
two minds
one thought
four arms
one cuddle
four lips
two tongues
one kiss
two bodies
two hearts
two souls
one moan
now you understand
if this what's happening
beyond
you will sleep standing
gotta protect
what's happening

Tamer Hossam...

Sour
In the night
those tiny hairs
stand erect
at attention on my neck
Eyes darting from
lights undisturbed movement
Gulp almost in audible
under the racing muscles thrum
Noises unnoticed in the sunlights charm
Now bring visages of predestined harm
Dark scurries into shadow
Is there someone there ?
a pause expectant of reply
listening as the sound bounces
and breaks
stranding me in the silence
Floorboards give a gentle rasp
as my sight fumbles in the shadows
does the dark look back...
