Blooming sunflowers
sway gaily with wind waltzes~~~
petals keep cleaving...
…Like the sunflowers
heart stays glowing, unrestrained~~~
basking with freedom…
…At times, faith wavers
midst carnality cravings~~~

I lift thine eyes towards heaven’s way,
Thankful for blessings given this day.
Oh lord, I thank you for saving me,
my heart is filled with much glee.
Each day that I live I’m grateful,
My soul rejoices, and I'm thankful.
Took my brokenness, I’m now whole,
Your stedfast love cleansed my soul.
Sometimes I fall short and get off track,
Faith in you helps me in things I lack.
In those times, I must seek your face,
and rest in the father’s amazing grace.

through my veins

lifes bridges...
you have crossed...
your battles fought
lost and won...
you walked this earth
with defiance...
your courage...
your self reliance...
this a burden to
carry...this courage
stedfast...this spirit
truth does not elude...
...my spirit kneels
before truth...
this respect...
your spirit
long lives...
...gifted to me
from you...
Continue in God's work well
His wondrous mercy-deeds --- tell...
Keep on serving steadfastly
By His grace poured constantly.
Minister around love's scope
Give the Lord's blessings of hope...
Oh, be not weary to share
Build lives upon Christ's great care.
