Sensible people support and encourage sensitivity
Selflessly give seconds, minutes, hours, days
Sow the seeds of empathy
Save their souls because it's not worth,  
spoiling the ship for a ha'porth of tar.

We're trapped here.
The need to escape 
this fledgling hell hole once called Eden...
is far ahead of the technology to do so.
It's our fault..(the elders)
the government said spare the rod
and we listened to them.. 
so this is what we've raised
a nest of little vampires that cannot fathom
differing points of view.
