Premium Member When I was your Age, Sonny Boy

My college fell 200 spots in the annual rankings ~

Seems professors no longer give the students spankings

Sonny

There once was a man named sonny
and nobody thought him to be funny
he broke his left hand
when he fell in the sand
and now he has lost all his money

Premium Member Sonny Won At Power-Ball

Oh, have I ever got great news, Sonny!
What is it, my dearest darling honey?
     You won at Power-ball
     It was Winner-Take-All
Knowing you, I'd say "Urine the Money"

Premium Member What's that Sonny?

A frog in the throat says there's frog in the air.
No wonder I can't see anywhere!
A horse voice has a long face.
No wonder he lost the race.
Whenever throat animals mumbo,
they cook a jumbled word gumbo.
So, let's get this straight -
please enunciate.

Dear Sonny, When You Close Your Eyes

Dear Sonny, when you close your eyes one last time, and bid this world adieu,
know I am glad for the time I had
that I could spend with you.
Dear Sonny, when you close your eyes one last time, and you come apart,
Know you'll stay with each new day
living always in my heart.

Premium Member Big Mouth Trump Collaboration With Sonny Roper

The mouth of Donald Trump
is bigger than his rump!
Both pump hot smelly air
which is hard to bare,
responsible for prolonged slump.

If he would only shut his mug
and his backside plug,
so the air would clear
and pleasant things we might hear,
instead of the nasty humbug.

Sonny

Horn man,
Blues man,
Play and sing as soon as you can

My soul's been trying
And my lil' heart's been crying
My woman's been lying
And my nosey neighbors been prying

Horn man,
Blues man,
Play and sing as soon as you can

My pockets ain't got no money
And my love ain't got no honey
My eyes and nose real runny
It's been cloudy, real cloudy so HELP ME, please
play for me, Sonny

Premium Member Remembering Sonny and Cher Show

The old photo is in dull black and white gray scale
However, this cannot dull or blemish our well-loved Cher
We recognize her face, attitude and fabulous, personality.
Remembering how regal she was with her sarcastic wit.
Sonny looks like the husband we remember who loved his wife.
Just a couple of kids from the sixties who fell in love
And delighted tens of thousands of TV watchers.
I would watch all of the Sonny and Cher shows if given the chance.
