I can remember grade school was a ruler/hand you got hit with. In 5th grade a kid would Not stop talking. The teacher hit him in the mouth with her ring/broke off 2 teeth. The parents almost killed him. Today the teacher/school would be sued. He never talked again. Junior High was a paddle. If bad, then parents would kill you. Maybe we should go back to days of old. Have a fun/blessed day writing away...................

Yup. I remember back when parents (almost) always backed the teacher. Now the teacher is 'public enemy #1 -- although the 'woke teachers' deserve to be, the 'normal' teachers face nothing but grief: The parents attack them, and the administration throws them under the bus. Glad I got out of that racket! ~ gw
