The Scars

The scars that tattoo my soul,
were etched by the promises I didn't keep,
all the dreams I put to sleep,
and the emotions I failed to control.

Premium Member Call of the Blue Jay

the blue jay's pained call

                  mirrors the melancholy...

                                                  of a rainy day.

The Shadow

I saw the shadow cry on the wave of the sea.
It bled tears of golden bronze.
It voiced drowning gulls into the sunset.
When asked why, he looked to the sky
he turned and said the world that
you see is enough to make me cry..

Prophet Jesus

Jesus we miss you so much
We want your miracle touch.

Jesus please come as soon as possible
To end the war and strife once and for all.

Jesus please pray to God
We know His mind is broad.

Jesus please come now or never
We need you now more than ever.

Im Very Loud Without a Sound

I can’t be lost and can’t be found,
I’m in the air and in the ground;
I’m very loud without a sound.
I’m everywhere yet can’t be seen,
I’m where you’re going,
and where you’ve been.
I never stop and never start;
I am spirit’s love, which fills your heart.

Gul Zamani

Zaman gul zamani bu yaz
Beklenmeyen heyecan
Goncolanan katmerlerde
Eriyen rengin hasretim kokun
Zaman gul zamani umidim
Kan kirmizi sevgim diken
Operim yapraklarini aglarken
Zaman gulse umid nefese yagmur
Tirmandi goklere gul yurudu
Alevinde sevginin gul zamanin

Eyes Like Mine

This song is for you
although, you are not here
My dreams of desire
with visions so clear
Flames burning higher
for the warmth of your soul
The need of your body
to have and to hold
Someday I will find you
our hearts intertwined
Your love will then see me
through eyes like mine

Ruyalar

Dalgalandi ruyalar
Hikayesi deprem
Yildizi gun isiklar
Karankliklar gunu agirir
Salinan umid topraklar

Gelsem de yakalasam
Umidi olmeyen hazan
Nefes olsa can bir agizdan

Yurudukce isildasa topragin atesi
Hep bir nefes yagit olsa merheme
Hep bir can ucsa yildizlar evrenine

Forget Your Needle In a Hay Stack

I'm a needle in a haystack
walking about among all
never standing tall.
A stick in an ever growing field of flowers.
never a stalk, never any power.
just a lone discarded weed, but i feed
on your unknowing, my unshowing.
until an unblossoming of a true form me
and a society forced to see me,
and try to be me,
 the perfect rose.

Don'T Go There

Don't go There
It is the place where you can't return
A portal of undefined world
Where all the confusion of your life
That can always happened anytime

Don't go there
It is the time whee you started to feel
Hatred, Lost and Insanity
The time where everything go wrong
And there is no way back
If you go there
So, don't go there

Mercy of the Universe

O Muhammad mercy of the universe
We are your followers so please look at us.

If you were not created God would create nothing
I have a few things to give you but this song I sing.

If you did not reveal the Truth
Our afterlife would not be smooth.

If you were not our guide we would surely go astray
We want you beside us on the awful Judgment Day.

The Rhyme

I've Always been attracted
to the melody of the dancing rhyme
along the black and white keys
there is a voice of international language
through the Steinway and Baldwin
through the casio and yamaha
the message comes out of my fingers
from the old and young
its a sound that touches ev'ryone
lets you laugh and cry
lets you discover how to fly.

Shall We Dance?

Every word I write
I listen to, I see.
For the familiar sound
Is what I call poetry.
It may sound crazy,
But the music I hear
Surrounds me in distinction
And quality,
While I'm envisioning
All sorts of things.
When I read a genuine poem,
I feel like I'm ready
To dance,
And I ask you to join me
When I read one
Aloud to you...

Shall we dance?

A Different Verse

A different time, a different place
A different life and different face

Different wants and different needs
Different values and different creeds

Different Pomp and Circumstance
Different songs and different dance

Different likes and different hate
Different foods on different plate

A different boat on a different sea
A different you and a different me

Ignorance Is Bliss

Ignorance is bliss i hear
i guess that may be trouble
things i understood all fade and misconceptions double
ignorance is bliss i hear
a problem never knew
as true as mountain high and sky of blue
why don't you understand?Bliss is all i hold
coveted by many as diamond and gold
Ignorance is bliss my dear reality will end
in this way forever live no beginning and no end

O Jesus Gods Symbol of Peace

O Jesus! It’s the era of tech!
O Jesus! It’s the info era!
It’s the twenty-first century –
You are supposed to come down
We have started the count down
Ten Nine Eight Seven Six
Five Three Two One O!

O Jesus! Take a look at us
You are our precious omnibus!

O Jesus God’s symbol of peace
You are what we now need and miss!

O Jesus! Come down on the earth
Make it a place of peace and mirth.

Merry Christmax

bells are jingaling
carolers singaling
happy christmas songs
jack frost nippaling
at my nose
while i'm singaling
christmas songs

chestnuts roasting
turkey baking
dinner wont be too long
the tree is loaded
lots of toys
for the girls and boys...

bells are ringaling
carolers singaling
happy christmas songs
jack frost nippaling
at my nose
while i'm singaling
christmas songs

Gettin On With My Life

You broke my heart now we're apart. i want to get on with
my life. It's been so long since we got along it's got to get
better in time.
You broke my heart now we're apart and you're having
fun putting me down, you think i'm a clown but i'm not.
You're threw putting me down. I'm gonna rise above it
all i got what it takes no matter what. I'm getting on with
my life and movin on i'm glad you are gone.

Just Love and Peace

Simple as that, just love and peace.
Writing for all who need a release.
Writing for those who can't seem to find
A poem that compliments days and nightime.

Dream time comes I wake but don't write.
No need to bother, be silly laugh light.
I plea for comedic, no drama because,
it makes things pecuilar and creates too much buzz.
So the lesson plan today is simply just laugh.
Just peace and love, you hold the bat.

The Right Words

Sometimes I ask myself questions that I cannot answer
Sometimes I wonder what our chances are
Can I just come out and tell you?
Or will everything be like ice, and just fall through?
It seems like I can tell you things, all except for one
I give you hints, but I'm being serious, it's not for fun
I want to give you the feeling of being free
Things that I've said to you that you've heard
I still try to go and find the right words....

Song of Hope

If we try nothing is there too big,
if we try nothing is there too great,
if we try no chance for us to sigh,
if we try then we can rest and lie.

If we try we can sleep in peace,
if we try we'll find a time to kiss,
if we try no chance for a goodbye,
if we try no tear is there to cry.

If we try I think we can embrace,
if we try no chance for us to miss
the love we longed for thru the years,
if we try there's time for us who care.

The Land of Lawsuit and Money

The clamorous, glamorous, amorous...
sing succinctly about their worth,
to the ragged bagged haggard masses,
who push forth their carts...of forgotten arts, through the marts.
Complaining of the waning interest in their air
to the mayor who sits upon his throne,
calling home to fill its moat, with his boat,
paid for, by the maid for,
failing to clean the railing leading to bedroom,
the bride and groom tried to room
to sanctify the event to which they went.

Premium Member The Distant Song

Perhaps you heard a distant song
That mortals cannot sing;
Perhaps it made your heartbeat long
For such a pretty thing.
Perhaps you saw beyond your eyes
What dirt and clay can’t form;
Perhaps you know what beauty lies
Beyond the mortal storm.
Why then, pursue it, as you must,
One cannot let it go;
But gold is not akin to rust,
We can but little know.
And, O, what cost to know in trace
What is from mortals fenced!
The treasure stored in Heaven’s place,
One cannot loan against.
