Twinkle, twinkle little star-
How I wonder if you are.
So many light-years far away,
Are you still out there today?
Did you go nova little star?
How I wonder if you still are.

Premium Member High-Flyin' Rock Star

Johnny Ray was a high-flyin' rock star
His songs thrilled teenyboppers near and far
   Yet Johnny wanted more
   Not some two-bit punk whore
But a woman who could pluck his guitar

Two Encores

Two Encores

Now please don’t think me a bragger,
But, I sung on stage with Mick Jagger.
There we pouted our lips,
and we wiggled those hips.

Two encores and Superstar swagger.

Bracing herself for her big moment
called upon to sing the show-stopper

         She breathes deeply, exhales
pours all the feeling a twelve-year old girl
                 hides deep within
into words as much hers as if she had penned them …

These Are Not Our Stars

(To Vladimir)
-------------------------

There is a star in the sky,

but it is not mine and not yours.

There is another star near it,

also not yours and not mine.

The stars are not necessary to us now,

What we need are many, many tears,

That we cry together

About our lost, beloved son.

Premium Member The Fiddler and the Frog

The bow would let out a groan
the big green frog sang baritone
we had great home cooked food
with stars for the best mood
heavenly nights at the lily pad zone

Mr. Cricket the fiddler would play
on the lily pad by the bay
here we made a great friend
friends until the very end
how about another round Jay

Countin Constellations

This is just a small space for me to fill
to let you know just how I feel
the way you radiate leaves me mesmerized and now I'm countin constellations from the stars in your eyes
the thought of you
revolving
I'll be there when the lights go dim
I'll be there when the lights go dim
waiting to feel you
waiting to
feel you
the breath before we touch we share
we share eww
we share eww
