you open my mind
one petal at a time
you awake me from my sleepiness
and breathe life into me
giving me a second wind
I am alive
and free
From "Modern Love And Other Poems"
Suddenly,
The face goes in aflame
Without any reason at all,
The sleepiness dust becomes golden wings
And I am still wondering why me?
I've been up
I've been down
but mostly Dreamlike sleepiness
clouds of black
clouds of blue
I saw the tree dead and leafless
I could Smile
I could Laugh
Not now but for thousand Years

COFFEE
His voice, confused, warm,
Apologizing, smiling.
Coffee smell, longing...
Distant voice carries
Early morning sleepiness...
Attraction complete.

Snow falls on her cold, shivering body.
As she looks to the sky at the full moon.
Knowing she has only seconds left to live.
As sleepiness runs through her veigns.
She closes her eyes.
Takes a last breath.
And her heart stops.

Shine on me
Bless me God
The board has come!!!!
The paper tore
Is there any indicator?
99% is flying
Is there any solution?
My childhood went
My sleepiness went
My happiness went
My everything went
Bless me God !!!!
on an abandoned street
I walk in silence,
darkness at my back.
I stumble on an uneven crack,
catching myself on a deserted car.
I regain my balance and
awaken the moon with my grunt.
He emerges through grey clouds,
a streak of light scolding me.
Warning of his sleepiness
as darkness tonight is his keeper.
I knew muse senses were waning
when I rose so late from bed.
All the world seems spinning
and sleepiness still dances in my head.
Some days life just gets you down
and nothing you can do to change it.
So here I am just pondering displaying a frown
that the day is lost and I just blew it.
What's left to say?
Blah, blah, blah.
Somewhere once upon a time
In a place where there was no sunshine
and moonlight
Where there was no day and night
In a time when we were in between sleepiness
and awareness
Some friends of mine who had rode the wave of whirlwind
Walked along a fragrant alley
And crossed the border of sensuous curtain
Came and saw just to say ‘Hi’ to me.
I walk in a path of stones, my feet are bloodied from the path.
My clothes are dirty and torn, my throat is very dry, from the day's sun.
I stop and take my knapsack, and place it on the ground. I lay my head upon it, and look to the sky, I say a prayer, It's Our Father, my eyes start to fade into sleepiness,
I awaken at the Lord's table, Home At Last, Home At Last..
My journey on earth, a forgotten past.
A stone without value is not missed
Even if it's easily possessed
But a celebrity stone is given to much time and attention
Even if it lies under the Earth's bone
For it always gives a precious tune
Day and night it is guarded
Sleepiness and tiredness are warded
Just to watch it glimmer every night and everyday
They do not even take a holiday
For it's precious gleam gives a golden pay

Today I have to confess,
I have been suppressed.
By you,
Else who?
You have stolen my heart,
By you,
My sleepiness is being thwart.
The way you smile,
It freeze me for a while.
I wanna be your fringe hair,
To disturb your face,
This is my love's base,
I couldn't help myself,
From staring you.
If I am a grass,
You're morning dew.
I am tired of tolerating all this,
I love you all my life,
This is my wish......
Walk softly and watch
The rite of Tanabata
taking away nebuta.
People write wishes
On paper strips tied to tree
Mostly to a bamboo tree

This astronomical event
Molted out of summer sunbeams
Causes an herbaceous retreat
Personified as sleepiness
More darkness less lightness describes
This astronomical event
More coldness less heatness results
From shorter indirect sunbeams
Tilting revolving rotating
Earth goes around again until
This astronomical event
Reassuringly reoccurs
Earthly inhabitants rejoice
Variously and celebrate
The season attributed to
This astronomical event
