warrior black
skinning out bare belly rogues
rends velvet tents of jagged night
rumblings under grey mists...

Stone Age Man Hunting
Bellies rumbling,
Mind thinking,
Spear grabbing,
Man hunting,
Spear Throwing,
Flesh ripping,
Animal dying,
Fur skinning,
Meat eating,
Bellies Filling,
Man sleeping....

The rabbit died; it lost its head.
Tastes like chicken: what they said.
Skinning rabbit’s hard to do
When they’re staring back at you.
Truth is, they’re quite good to eat;
A protein source that can’t be beat.
Today’s events will haunt my dreams,
No one told me bunnies scream....

Miracle of Being
The miracle of being
Born upon our earth
Predates the now and yesterday
Goes back beyond our birth.
Too our mothers bellies
Feeding, growing, skinning
Though lets go to the source
The maker and beginning…
For if it weren’t for our creator
His love and will for freeing
We wouldn't even be here…
The miracle of being....

Stoned--Not For the Squeamish!
The pain is like child birth, it hits sudden and hard
Don't try to endure go and get some help
Fluids help to flush the little prickly pear stone, down the internal pipes.
But it is not a quick and easy flush.
Think skinning your urethras open to urine's burn.
Time heals all wounds, lots of time...

Dedicated to all those who have suffered from kidney stones....

Mind Over Matter, Maybe Not
When your bones ache, nerves are frayed
There are some tricks that can be played
Sit quietly in your nice warm chair
Close your eyes, take your mind back where…
You were running
With legs so strong
You were jumping
Could do no wrong
Climbing in trees
Singing a song
Skinning your knees
Playing all day long…
Your mind is now inspiring you
To realize what you can do!
The child in you says “Let’s go play”
OOPS! You fell down, now here you lay!...

Your eyes are knives.

Your way of skinning rabbits,
Is quicker than mine.

Piercing daggers,
Across photonic records.
The visions take their toll.
Echoed sudo chambers across a viking floor of snow.

The wrong side of walls,
Surrounded by enemies.
The blue of my eye smaller each year.

Until I climb with teeth and heel:
Unafraid with you along the long way up.
We'll see our lives from up down here.

Trembling like a leaf,
A proper lover....

Velvet Raven
Velvet Raven my fawn,
braids of deepest coal black.
You are my breaking dawn,
having you would I lack?
Pretty prairie blossom,
I am sadly lonesome.

Wipe away this aching,
my heart feels for you strong.
Know not you are stealing
my thoughts all day long?
I cant eat and sleep much,
I want your close touch,

Be squaw cooking my food,
tending new papoose near,
cutting wickiup's wood
working skinning doe deer.
I will baffalo kill,
so our stomachs might fill....
