A Dove Like You
I feel you laughing with some other girl
And it makes me feel pushed out

I saw her picture
Hanging on the back of your door

Now I understand why you forgot me

She's prettier
She's skinnier
She's better

Who was I to think
That a crow like me could find love with a dove like you?...

No Less
You could
be
younger or older I
would love you
no less

In you, Beauty
dwells and nothing is
out of place

You could
be
skinnier or heavier I
would adore you
no less

In you, Harmony
was born merging into celestial
melodies

You could
be stronger or weaker I
would find you enchanting
no less

In you, the Lord's Creation
shines and God
winks....

Premium Member A Butterfly Moment
Butterfly swoops in
Black like a bat but a touch skinnier
Moves at an incredible gliding pace

I am astounded at her charismatic flair
She fills the porch with momentous beauty
For a mega instant, then she is gone

A fleeting look
Then butterfly disappears
Notoriously mystical and surreal

Was this a dream?
A spirit?
A treasured blink....

A Winner Becomes Thinner
In herself she saw An Easy Winner,
Until she began to be thinner;
You should know what I mean: leaner
And for it earned the name Tina’
Together with ‘Lena’…

Then, she turned Dare-Devil fighter
And though things still got tighter
Not too long became lighter
Her Sun shining the brighter.

Now, she knows: nothing like Easy winner
The searcher for it, at first skinnier....

Premium Member Skinny Floral Christmas Elf
Skinny floral Christmas elf with eyes so green
Your attitude and holly is totally and fully seen
We marvel at your body, so lithe and loose
You are skinnier than a wiped-out chicken goose.

Skinny floral Christmas elf with your attitude cute
We don’t know what to say, you are pretty couth.
We see your skip and hop and your limber bod.
You are more like us than we thought, not so very odd....

The Girl Inside
The girl inside hates herself.
She hates the way she laughs-
She hates the way she cries,
She hates the way she sees herself through her own eyes.
She hates the way she walks,
She hates the way she talks,
She hates the fact that she has to act, like nothing is ever wrong.
The girl inside is me, you see,
The girl that wishes she could be-
Better, smarter, skinnier, prettier,
Anything, anyone, that is,
Except me....
