Souls bygone searching, shouting, soaring, sizing, somewhere other than heaven and hell ~ 9/8/21 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©

looking at objects, yet recognising
that God dwells in every form that is seen
therefore without measuring or sizing
nonchalant to where our senses have been
irrespective of any dream form’s sheen
in this way duality disappears
wherever we look, God’s presence appears

Sum of Plight

Ire of the sun
That burns my back
Out on the field
While I till my deal,
Paying due my contract
In upsetting the sum.

The eye of the sun
Photo-sin-the-sizing the grass.
Who was I to eat green,
The synthetic crop yield?
Still weeding mature grass
To add up my pathetic yield!!!

deep in the trenches a forest of cardboard trees and stained glass windows twiddling pieces through fingers sizing up like private eye a piece here…and there like a long drawn out story finally middle latched shut and made the sign of the cross now I aim for the quadrants

Lost in reason and rhyme

Forget me not
be a catcher in the rye,
sizing your eyes
sometimes it was better
climbing alone
The musique changed our lives
yet show me where it came from !
was it the gesture in your smile ?
lost in reason and rhyme
Im steering all over
No backstage pass
was ever intended
but as a plenty Madonna you are spent

Sizing Up

Juliet asked, “What’s in a name?” and, methinks I shall do the same. What have; Bo-Peep, Boy Blue, Jack Horner, Miss Muffet, Poll Parrot, Red Riding Hood, Robin Redbreast and Tommy Tucker in common, scale-wise, that's underststood? As none of them are related, the subject may seem brittle, altho' not small, or what I call 'tall', one and all, they are 'Little'.

A Room with a view
Tight-dressed woman, heaving heart
Sizing hips for overweight
My inside motive
Lust leads me fly half a mile
To indulge storming senses.

Vision I nurtured
Years back, intruding my thoughts
A swarming brain, empty bed.
Now expanding stain
Like crowded private bookcase
Gathering dust, vision blurred.

form needs space-time
where joy chimes spark
a rhyme in heart

distanced from light
heart’s delight dims
dark nights spark fear

to ego bound
life confounds us
soul’s drowned in lust

this lucid dream
are thoughts streaming
moonbeams yet dance

ego begot
thoughts when naught heart’s
fear fraught no more

in silence rise
ceasing sizing
be wise again

we then feel whole
whence our soul’s shines
life role fulfilled
