Premium Member Donkey Mule Sidekick and Ass

A donkey, mule, sidekick and ass
Are they the same or does one have more class?
I wish I knew
It makes me blue
Whatever the answer, please let them pass.

my hot pink dragon brought his sidekick Bug.
My mother yelled “Tell them to stay off the rug!”
They were not interested in coming in the house.
“It is scary in there,” the dragon said “you have a mouse”.

Premium Member No Idea I Am a Dragon

Man of la Mancha
Has no idea I am a dragon
He thinks I am a dog
With a tail that is a’wagg’n.

His sidekick Panza knows
But does not give it away.
I love spending time with them.
They know how to laugh and play.

Premium Member Sylvester Follows the Jokester's Lead

Sitting on the crescent moon, the jokester was quiet.
His black sidekick Sylvester, an alley cat, needed a riot.
But he kept his counsel and pretended to meditate too.
It is the best way to get along with a jokester like Boo.

His owner gave it gladly to his sidekick Todd
Todd ran off in the rain, jumping high with glee
Throwing loads of water up on his knee

The days of wine and roses have left St. John’s nature trail
Now we are opening manga books with a sidekick tail.

Premium Member High Noon In Armadillo Texas

It’s high noon in Armadillo Texas Sheriff cat announced in her way.
Her sidekick, Deputy Mouse Whiskers smiled and decided to stay.
They strapped on cowboy hats, holsters, belt buckles and a gun.
It was 1959, when outlaws were arrested, and TV westerns were fun.

Dark and Stormy Night

it was a dark and stormy night
a flick of a bic
and a radioactive polonium glow

he said he went ballistic
the other day

it was all over an interpretation
of what,
a psychotic little smile

I'm just Sancho Panza
a sidekick in this life

it's all good
I suppose.

Premium Member Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger would come to save the day
            With his trusted sidekick Tonto at bay
                 Outlaws didn't have chance
                      Were often in trance
          He left and said “ Hi-Yo, silver away!”

Premium Member Elmira Faerie has been Reassigned

Elmira faerie used to paint teeth
It was disgusting.
She asked to be reassigned.
faerie manager took pity on her.

She now paints flowers white.
Lily of the valley, daisy, Queen Anne’s lace.
She gets to ride on the back of Snook, her snail.
Her sidekick ladybug criticizes; it is nirvana!

What Happened To Us

I miss it.
I miss the laughs
The cries
I miss the adventures
The crazy things we did
And the lessons we learned
I miss trust
The bond we had
I miss my sidekick
My partner in crime
I miss fitting together like puzzle pieces
But I guess, sometimes,
The pieces are meant to be lost and never found.

Premium Member Brandy, No Doubt

I once had a sidekick named RickHop

Whose verses, on PSoup, were a flop

Until he found out--

Without any doubt

Brandy while scribbling made vague lines pop!

Premium Member TV show Questions

On TV the hero lifts a man to his shoulders
Hoists him up and walks eight miles through the woods
I cannot even lift my seventy-two-pound dog to my shoulder
Did the camera man help him get that guy up there
Or is this a dummy dressed like the hero’s sidekick?
I ponder this and thousands of other things as I watch the screen.

Premium Member Lo Fi Kitty Cyhydedd Hir

A kitty’s soft purr
endearing murmur;
Happiness so pure
leads me to grin;

That very slow blink,
perfect nose so pink;
My trusty sidekick
knows how to win;

You sleep beside me
lounging lazily
or run playfully;
It doesn’t cease;

Lo fi existence,
no knowledge of tense;
Fun’s bound to commence,
cats rhyme with peace.

Premium Member Vive la difference

Vive la différence

couples complement each other
balancing the scales

one will play the jokester
clown and storyteller

the other acts as sidekick
filling in if there are gaps

they juggle and finesse their roles
managing an equilibrium

thus the introvert and extrovert
weave their life in harmony

Us

A smile.
A sidekick.
The joy of what we gain back.
A tear.
A thirst.
The anguish of what we lack.
A plead.
A persuit.
The scare of what we meet.
A feeling.
A fight.
The madness of what we defeat.
A bond.
A belief.
The passion of what we have.
A desire.
A dream.
The obsession of what we need.
