For billions of years
I did not exist.
Then I existed
for a little while.
Soon I will return
to not existing
for the rest of time....

Taking Naps Caused a Mishaps
Taking Naps Caused a Mishaps

What I was told about taking knaps,
They may cause a mental mishaps,
Shortness of mind,
After left behind,
Which will be of time a long lapse.

Thus Passes By the Glory of the World
Relics, relics sad and lone,
Cromwell's head and a single bone
that William the Conqueror left on earth
prove today of petty worth.
Oh that now those proud in power
knew the shortness of their hour....

Nagaski Pray
Let me fall to my knees so that I may pray
Only to feel the shortness of breath
Feel no feeling, the wounds that cover my broken body
Straining for sight, only to see darkness filled with blood
Trying to move, but tied down by death....

Pressure
Do you ever feel like you are dying
Like someone is sitting on your chest
Constricting the flow of oxygen
feeling the shortness of breath
Pressure that threatens to steal your last breath
I'm not dying
Although sometimes
I wish I was.

The Syllables of Love
you are...
the syllables of love,
the words of devotion,
the sentences of interlacement,
the pauses inbetween the shortness of sighs,
the verses of togetherness,
the metre of the heartbeats,
the tone of desire,
the chords of passion,
you are
flesh-and-blood poetry....

Anxiety.

Breathing heavily,
heart fluttering,
shortness of breath.

Still environment surrounding me.

Overly piercing voices of others.

Pounding head.

Worry creeps in.

Will it be different today?
Will today be the day it all changes?

Or is it once again the paranoia?

Intimacy

implies closeness
and many would say
 shortness of distance
appearance of merging..
so what if we
eliminate the words
we use for closeness
however small the gap..
then to discover
seamlessness as
the fullness of our
experience:
knowing only a
many colored
intimacy......

Grandpa's Farewell
I have delighted in you since you were seven.
Saw your beauty when you reached age eleven.
My heart always moves when you are near.
But shortness of my time has made me fear.
I write these things so you know what you mean.
Because time will come when I'm no longer seen.
My world may end the moment I'm gone.
But you'll be in my heart in loving song....

Autumn
The Autumn crocuses sway
amongst the shadows of the pine trees
The air is resonant with smoke
As the buddleia dies down

August as thick as musk
Blackbird came a calling
about Autumns shortness
Somber yet always lonely

The impending storms
ignite the skies
Finding a talisman
To acknowledge the epiphany

August you are a gust of leafs
floating downstream
you are about heartfelt loss
Tameness is not spoke...

Knowledge
To be content with yourself
Is to be honest and ready for the impossible
To be mesmerized by creation
Is to be falling deeply in love

Calmness overwhelms your inner self
Eagerness evaporates into the thin air
Shortness occupies confidence
Tenderness set the chosen stage

To be evaluated and analysed
Is to be honoured in such a way that leaves the audience speechless
To be honoured and acknowledged
Is to be a human being...

End Up Dead
End Up Dead

If I have done all of my math,
There is no end to God's wreath
Especially when you were wrong;
Life you led will not be for long.

Of breath, did detect a shortness
And realized I had so much to miss
When my Lord I will not let lead
Who has so many mouths to feed.

So will shut my mouth and to Lord listen;
World is great and often does glisten
But somewhere in the Bible I had read
If you live in sin sadly will end up dead.

Love Is Actually Pathetic
Those who love know of the weakness in the knees
That comes from smiling eyes that have chosen you.
The shortness of breath when ones lover says, "please",
And the racing heart when one hears,"Yes, please do."
The world turns to chaos as time seems to freeze
And you look in the mirror and wonder "who".
Yes,love is pathetic, my friend, as you know -
It is for the young and we should keep it so!

Adverse
Desolate desert-
Here lies the heart of Shiuli flower
Ashes on the rocks of the blazing fire
Cracked Dry lands -
Fish lives with severe shortness of breath
Shipwrecked sailor-
The tempest raging in the deep sea.

Tired, exhausted and helpless
Extreme Loneliness
No one is there-
Nobody to-
Extend its helping hands.

Nobody else,
Only the sky keeps staring -
At the solitary silence of my depressed mind-
The illusion of a frosty night in its eyes....

Premium Member The Sweetest of Kisses
My tongue tastes the sweetness of your kiss

Both heart and spirit are awake

The long languid suppleness of this

Is almost too much for me to take

My body trembles from your light touch

As you softly caress my cheek

This time with you that I love so much

Is disarming as my knees grow weak

Heart pounds with a shortness of breath

Oh what a delectable sin

And though it draws me closer to death

Still, I can't wait to do it again

Storm Shelters
I left at sixteen slamming the front door,
I returned at seventy-four,
gently pushing against rusted hinges.

I won't say I took a long road.
I'll not wail of the shortness of it.
It was just a road,
one that walked me,
flew me, rode me
tramped over me
took me high as low can go.

I'm not gonna say I am at the end of it,
I am just back
and only now entering
a house once left
suspecting that all storm shelters
                          were the same....

Smooth Leaves of Nostalgia
Urban ear-
Wakes up in the fangs of the erect of machineries
Shortness of breath due to sexual weakness-
 Delicate, bankrupt state-
Suffers from severe shortness of breath-
Fragile lifeless its bricks symbolize.

 Reluctant is the city life-
Archaeology is my ingrained green life
Dying in search of the three boundaries of dreams-
The music of the rain falling on the seven tin-roofs
Dance of foliage swinging in haste-
There blows the nostalgic wind....

Spirit Set Free...
A sudden shortness of breath,
The clenching of the chest.
You hear the news fail like you're deaf,
The first thing you want to do is confess.

A young man's life cut short,
In a foreign country away from family.
You scream that he needed more,
But atleast his spirit can now roam free.

A whisper on the wind brings tears,
A breeze full of heat as if it's someone's breath.
You turn quickly to abate your fears,
And find that your all alone all by yourself....

Oh How I Remember Her
Oh how I miss the fresh air
Oh how I miss the shortness of breath the sweat
I didn't know it at the time
That was all a sign of life
"You are living"
I whisper to my past self in the form of a flashback
My friends say you can't change the past
But
Oh how I miss the what-ifs
What if it was different
It haunts me
What if this is it
What if this is all I was meant to be
A memory
A fading form in a yearbook
A girl with a curse to be blissfully unaware
Oh how I remember her...

Death Comes
The time of life has come to halt
for the grim reaper owns my soul.
His timing and acuteness never fault.
To take my life is his goal.
The shortness of a love once known.
The greatness of my internal fear.
While as he enters i sit all alone
and i begin to shed a tear.
My fate with chess betrayed me
through the hourglass i stare
the time has come for me to leave
my body and soul no longer an even pair.
My body still lies where it fell
my soul for eternity will burn in hell....
