Tender of the Bow

tender of the bow…
variegated waft of heart
slowly beats faster…
   precipice of violin
      seizes upon the valley

Animal Instinct

Animals just know
The praying mantis looks above
The clam closes down
The turtle’s head hides inside
The spider seizes the fly

Deep Hurt

I stand alone
not as you think you see me
I am not that strong
as fear seizes me, looking
over my shoulder at you.

Sea of Love

Midnight blue eyes gaze
Cerulean water streams
Yearning for descry
Of the amative sight that
Seizes his heartbeat

It's Pain, Intensified

I loved you once,
I love you still.
Always have,
Always will.

You took my heart,
And broke it to pieces.
Now all I have left,
Is pain that never seizes.

Dry

Summer parched my dried lips turning fastly into rocked salt
Grasping for the water I kept for a moment like this one here
My mouth seizes the droplets that remain in my canteen

Wails of a Fiery Soul

Flames sifts and seizes all, mankind’s desires burns through all
All is exchanged for fire, for fire is the highest priced gold
With a pearl within the flickering flames, still and wailing

Darkness

Darkness falls across the land
As terror seizes the great old clan-
Monsters awake under the night
And doom falls with evil might.

Percieve the screams!
Behold the evolution!
Humans taking evil shapes
Beneath the pale moon.

A Crowd of Hurricanes

Storms are raging on a placid and sunny day
The bloodshot eyes scream the clouded grey
In the heads we hang on the necks we sway
A crowd of hurricanes smile n seizes the day
The streets are flooded by streams of dreams
The rivers flow into the ocean of silent screams

Anxiety

Anxious worry seizes my heart
Now my pulse quickens and wavers
X-ray my chest and find my heart's compression
I try to calm down but it's simply no use
The stress builds and the world spins
Every thought pushes me deeper into panic
Yesterday it was paying for my groceries

The Exchange

What is coincidence but the recognition of a unique presence in action? A presence that doesn't suddenly exist, but never had a beginning or end. A feeling of warmth seizes us; this feeling we claim is rarely experienced, yet we forget that warmth hasn't left us since we took our very first breath.

Giving Thanks

In those long nights of doubt
when all is dark
and the soul is far from home,
who is it
that seizes the tongue
and speaks in rhythmic sound,
grants the miraculous moment
when it seems all that it asks
is for you to listen
and write the words down,
then humbly offer thanks
for the gift it has given to you.

Corona a Bas

A monster in our midst
it knows no borders,
flouts the strictest checkpoint,
shows no pithy,
its tentacles of horror seizes headlines,
sends shivers down the spine of those cocooned.
Despite all this there lurks an inner zeal,
emboldened human mettle on the march
that bullies such ?as these can never match or ever bargain for.

As the World seizes and falls on itself

Your eyes have grown tired
hunting the fox and owl
You no longer hear peace
when the ball is in your court
Pay attention to yourself
The fields have grown trees
you walk bare footed on sandy loams
As the World seizes and falls on itself
The voices stand 40 seashells away
Wanting to walk on water
Are you taken in by their promises

Caravels of Thought

Into a frail boyhood,
The moment seizes us
More than we grasp
Its shady edges.
Little by little,
We undress the bruised knees
And the warm wounds
To the grown-up day
That winks at the kites.
Take one handful of bitterness
And some silver frowns
Throw them into the face
Of the undimmed wheel
And the splashes of summer laughter.

Trying To Sleep In Vain

a creative muse seizes me
before I am fully awake
before I can seize the day

she has brilliant grandiose ideas for us
ideas I could have never thought up myself
I am grateful I am a Gemini

my the other muses get involved
arguing and slapping, finally stomping each other
I close my eyes and try to regain my sleeping position

the muses laugh

Unconclusive

Forever seizes
a distorted fate,
as love is hidden.

Past and present
are thrown out,
lost in solitude.

Hearts are deceived
mis-used, and teased.

Is this the way it's going to be?
Strangers that know eachother very well....

With skeletons creeping,
as my eye's are weeping.

I start to wonder,
is this what I want?

An unconclusive decison.

The Only Thing To Fear, Is Fear Itself

I'm engulfed by the pitch and the feeling of dread Unprepared for the rage that stalks like the dead It seizes my dreams, leaving nightmares of rot It is only my fear, that consumes me instead of the things that are real, and things that are not

Cellophane

she wakes as a cello
in the morning not
high strung but
mellowly tuned

i run one of
my fingers
feeling her
f hole as

the air makes
her shapely
boxed body
quiver in

sound and
breath as
she breathes
vibrating strings

just plucked
slightly an open
g seizes the beat
of my heart as

it ceases to be
modulating to c
as i tightly wrap
her for a trip

Dusk's Beginning

The chiselled talons of soulless sane,

With crooked claw of judgement bane,

That in the glare of beaded tell,

Seizes the cries where innocents dwell.

Whose shadows are dust in plumage stained,

The ashes of merciless reign.

Where crowned in glory of thorned rose,

They’ll seat the throne of headless woes,

The guardians of the fallen ten,

The service of shadow less men.

Love Is Love Anyhow

Although should be quiet
must be a turmoil
must act as a pirate
that assaults and seizes
all treasures including hearts...
love has to be fever
rapture and in pleasure
fire in the rain...
Love must be cascade
and flowing water
washing pain and
giving impressive illusion
to the body and the soul...
Love must overcome anger
beating danger... because,
love is a always forward
never a come back

The Vampire

An inferno of sunset.
A triumph of twilight.
Here
A deathless darkness stirs.
Glowing eyes staring, searching---
He rises.
Into the cool flow of night.
Into the hot flood of life.
He seizes his red power.
The flame of life---
The ashes of death---
He drinks.
A liquid gleam of gold strikes the sky.
Burning, he shrieks---
Shrieking, he flees---
Back to his rest
As the day comes
Once more
He weeps.
