Umbrella of Pink
As I study the hue of the horizon
I fell in love with color.
I am inside my own head
Taking in the solitude for what seemed  an eternity.
Like a fairytale , the color pink had painted itself across the sky.
I was motionless, incapable of making a sound or movement
Mesmorized by the magnificent canvas I was studying.
I wish I was strong enough to turn away. 
I was weak with seductiveness
I was hovering above the earth
Floating in pink
Cloaked in comfort....

Isn't boredom is its own birth of freedom 
In this antebellum age
I have fashions of a vision
That I could put to page

I need to rage against
This dying of the dream
To etch on ancient canyon walls
And sound my barbaric scream

The seductiveness of my antimuse
Slithers through my brain
As she intones, saturated 
Yours is a pedestrian pain

This is no song
My angel of inert imagination tells me
What if she's not wrong
Why else should she whisper it so loudly...
