No Poems Lately
No Poems Lately

I have not written any poems lately.
Which, would have been done greatly,
Read through,;
Accustomed to,
That probably ended up so sedately.

Lips Touch
When we wake at dawn
Languidly and Longingly

When we part for a time
Avidly and Ardently

When we make love
Passionately and Powerfully

When we fight and Make-up
Vehemently and Vigorously

When we lay in the dark
Sedately and Serenely

We move through the day
To come alive
When our lips touch...

Premium Member My Exuberant Puppy
My puppy is ridiculously excited and exuberant every day.
Wiggling and jiggling with enthusiasm, always ready to play.
Today he is sedately sitting calmly with a butterfly on his nose.
Perfectly still for an odd reason. Do you suppose?
Is he evolved enough to be spiritually aware?
Maybe because he stayed motionless until the monarch was in the air....

Morning Moment
Barefoot
I stand beside the water.
Ocean sand and red clay warming my feet,
salt air cleansing my thought.
Shadows fade gray before the dawn.
Tidal surging
mark another day, another time.
A ship sails from harbor
moving sedately toward the rising sun.
I turn to go
and a gull greets me with cries.
Perhaps tomorrow
all longings will be stilled....

Constantly Came Across
Constantly Came Across

While we were looking at all the latches,
When combined are batches and batches;
No matter what other politicians say,
None of their thoughts work out anyway;
Constantly came across many catches.

Will not cause you to feel that greatly,
So should seem more sedately lately.

After Me
When I would no longer fathom the fall
Nor listen to the veery's soulful call,
When I would not see blossoms spread their fare
Alongside grass lichens and maidenhair;

When in lasting peace and bliss I shall lie
Sedately watching this world plying by,
That I couldn't in the maddened race of life
I would from the portals of death enjoy.
         ***********...

Throughout all of my lives and all
Of my loves I've not ever crossed
A path with her seduction
Misty gray moon rise

I saw stars In her eyes
Looking back through the thick
Of gray haze
I know now how much i miss

Her and yearn for the spice
Of them sedately sultry days
When she was near to me in
The morning sun I look at her

I'm telling all the
GODS IN HEAVEN SHE'S THE ONE...

Jevva?
Have yevva

Ever seen light in slow motion
waltzing sedately on wings
thousands of feet above ocean
Untouched by the rushing of winds
Delicate blue green and faerie
it's what sailors call St Elmo's fire
In a world of its own and so eerie
You can almost hear Lorelei's lyre
Evolving in moonlight and stars
Intertwining in delicate dance
Watching it glued to the glass
Caught in the grip of a trance...

to the pub in the square,
our gang always met there

trad jazz with Donegan,

sadly none of us then
       could afford a car.

     Haley and Elvis,then
so unorthodox....
