Battered Atmosphere

The atmosphere is being
Battered and bruised
From the constant use of
Space satellites and ships
With their rocket fuel
That’s being release

I
The stars hide time
Having sent their light years
Before red dwarfs

If I am the void between
stars, satellites, galaxies
I'm the canvas the Universe needs

My Creator

Infinity hangs high above me,
And satellites too -
Like the sky of frozen stars
At the end of this long summer

It’ll take me infinity to reach you,
Infinity to stop wanting,
And I just can’t

Put the rifle back

in that shattered bag,

don't want to forget

traumas from my hell.

Geysers in my soul

only need to explode,

watch me hike tonight

on my satellites.

LEFT ON THE RIGHT HORIZON

Garnet the threshold
Barring the prison vision
Hurled the moon
Satellites launching in my dreams
What's left on the right horizon

AMERICA POINT OF VIEW

Without geography
The USA is this world
Others, mere planets...

Japan is in Russia
Brazil is in China
China is out there in the world...!

Geography is a personal study
of the USA... Others are satellites

Who's Calling

Satellites beaming
a million signals at us
our phones understand

sending instructions
on our pending destruction
to our eager hands

with one finger’s touch
we’ll get the answers we need
who sent the signal
Form: Senryu

I think about praying sometimes

When the lights are dim
And the pen runs smooth
I think about sending a thought
High into the atmosphere
Past the cirri and satellites
Toward the edge of everything
I don't expect a response
I just hope I said the right name

Intrepiduniverseenterprises

Ok heres what we do
Our satellites which map the universe
stream the space pictures to yourchilds computer
for ever stretch ofspace they interpret and report back
what it means on data entry
they get paid
And we get the data.

Quick

Sweep, old lady, sweep away
the tin
din
and dust
of the day
breath as the sun sighs and
settles into the
ground
consider the satellites as they
come back
around
gather the children on the
wide fields you have
found
Sleep, old lady, come Monday
and dream

WATCHED WORLD

The world has become a
Watch, watch world
Cameras in the streetlights
The workplace, at the Malls
Inside the grocery stores and
Even in your homes thanks to
Smart TV's, smart phones and your home
Security system, satellites spying eyes
Are everywhere invading your
Privacy

Satellites watch time
in ten small bits of binary —
1024 weeks in a cycle
Telstra's flaw reset its clocks
to one cycle long ago,
so July 2026, became Nov 2006

With one swell swoop,
twenty years fell through the internet.
phones searched for now,
got a forlorn Time Lord
instead.

Rt 27 (Sunrise Highway)

Sunlight dances on our windows.
Fields grow large and vibrant.
Fresh dew highlights every misty morning.
Clear nights are hosted by an ocean of satellites.

Don't lose your breath
Along the silence of an open highway.
This world is seldom perfect.
It is only beautiful if you want it to be.

A question of Purpose

Satellites triangl'd
cushioning the three
Are you ready to attack
or simply protect?

                           The answer in heart
of Faith to the
unknown intention
of good
as it should

Could it be the
act of buffering
the gap created
aligning the stars
So long ago fallen?

Saturn In the Telescope

SATURN IN THE TELESCOPE

Creamy yellow disc and rings
Satellites like tiny brothers
Music of the spheres she brings
To Titan, Rhea and the others.

Moving slowly, orbit defined
Her face obscures the stars behind
What strikes me then is not the science
But the blackness and the silence

PAY BY CARD

If you go to the store
Most places say to pay by card
Because the government is
Trying to do away with cash
And paper, think about it
If one day something happens
To the satellites, how will you be able to
Get your money, pay your bills
Buy food, just survive because
It would shut the whole country down
So how would you live

Moon and Sun

M-oon and sun both glow
I-n opposite time of the day;
C-omforting the forlorn sorrow,
H-aving brightened the gray.
E-ach sea tide gets high or low,
L-ight and warmth always stay;
L-ife's satellites won't be gone,
E-njoy the glint of moon and sun.

Satellites

I was listening to the Angels they've been broadcasted on Satellite
All sounds surround me now
 close the curtains
Shut out the light
Take the darkness that I breathe out of me
Screams out into the night
I can't sleep till the sun rises
Collapsing after running for my life
The things that haunt me can never be brought to the surface

Unplugged

Dove off the ledge
unplugged from the socket
that pumped the bloody blood
too stunned when she got it

Ninety-seven stories off
the ledge of her choosing
past planets and satellites
free falling
and cruising

Dead zone promised
quietude with silk grass
ground zero approaching
        too late recognized
– the bent hand of the past

Twinkle Twinkle

On the edge of the universe that’s rapidly expanding
 I see it all
Nebulas form
Black holes consume
I see angels fall
Oceans violently crash
Satellites orbit
A yellow dwarf gamma ray blast
Energy incredible
Radiation inevitable
Solar wave’s receivable
Speed of light inconceivable
The universe continues to expand
But one day will snap back like a rubber band
