Heaven Hears Your Tears

As your tears flow through the windows of your own soul, oh grieving heart,
Know always these are only but the gentlest of water droplets
Always evaporating upwards towards the Heavens.

Happiness and Sadness

Happiness than sadness...
Finer one than the other
but to create poetry with beauty
we need some sadness
so that later nature
offers us peace in the heart
but it's finer to be blissful than sad !

Car Crash

Smell the burning rubber.
Hear the screeching tyre.
Watch in awe as the wheels fly off
and the chassis catches fire.
Then avert your eyes.
Say your au revoir.
The casualties are packed in tight
Limp inside the car.

Water Under the Bridge

Too many indigo tears

The Ocean
hides them beneath
her broad blue checkered apron

White capped waves skirt across
a memory
an act
drowned
long forgotten

Vomiting up
salt and brine
debris that won’t
stay down

Resurfacing, beached
upon
tomorrow

An
old shoe
someone once
wore

Funeral poem In A Better Place

When someone first dies and leaves us,
It’s hard to lift that sense of gloom,
When their body is no longer with us,
But their presence still fills the room.

But within our treasured memories,
We can recollect their smiling face,
For in our heart-of-hearts we know,
They are now in a much better place.

I Sacrifice

I sacrifice my happiness for my children
my mother, father, sisters and brothers
and sadly enough, to the one I give my soul.

I have chosen this path I live and now must endure
But I don't expect sympathy, but rather respect
For I live without regret
To know my loved ones have been spared.

The Gifted

Everyone is born with two eyes
Gifted uniquely
To see a wider view
To see the left and the right
To see the right and the wrong
To see the good and the evil
To see happiness and sadness
To see the materialistic and the spiritual
To study
To differentiate
To choose
To care
But not to ignore
The gifted and the surroundings
The loved ones
Lastly your God and his teachings

Path of the Sage

You are bitter, lonely, sorrow
You must awaken dreams of love and trust
What hope is there without forgiveness ?
What progress without redemption ?
Most who try will fail
The path is long with suffering
With ail at hopeless, tiring, reach
Many stumble upon it
Find it and are lost
Yet grace is the white dove flying at a moment's break
Hope moves in revelation
Awakened pain is eased

Misty Eyes

A solitary teardrop formed in my eye,
so I froze the flow of time, to learn the cause
of my sorrow when desires were flying high.
My conscience spoke, saying I'd broken God's laws,
engaged in needless strife, which soul does decry,
so distanced from source, these teardrops fall because
light of God indwelling form is veiled from sight
and so He weeps these tears, beholding our plight.

Two Sides of Death

Death was dreaded.
Rehearsed.
Experienced.
Dreaded more.

Being told,
Silence.
Empty.
Frozen.

Death.
The day arrived.
Surreal.
Nothing.

The bond was broken,
The memories ended,
There was grey nothing.
Silence.

Silence.

For me:
Shock,
Nuisances,
Sadness.

For her:
Beauty,
Peace,
Rest.

Two sides of death.

Dark Souls

Feels like I have died inside.
Still walking through the tears I have cried.
Memories walk with me by my side
And in my dreams is the only way I can fly.

Thinking of a girl who died soul free.
In the middle of the night she spoke with me.
She said let yourself go and dump your non-energy.
It only eats away at you, time after time, believe me.

My own killer

Freedom hides in me,
A barbaric source of madness,
Exposed in life to die,
Am I too lucid or a dreamer?

When the stars shake off the night,
And the moon cries on a mountain corner,
I carry with silent resignation
The rotten coffin among the graves.

A soul trapped in an eternal form
That gives birth by killing itself to the same form,
I am in solidarity with my own phantom
From the day I gave up on being human.

Green and Gray

The morning glory vines hold leaves of green
but the sky is growing gray

The lilac bush sits lush and green
but my eyes are filled with gray

The pine tree stands so tall and green
but hope is fading gray

Memories of days past so fresh and green
are faint in a mind waxing gray...

But though I must become a solemn gray
I know that one day the spirit will again be young and green

Embodiment of a Sparrow

Embodiment of a sparrow

Deft hand became stifled
One man's life becomes a ripple
Gauntlet affixes a bridle
Proclaimed a idol

Fist clenching low
Archer's imbued bow
Body quivered like his arrows
Embodiment of a sparrow

Anthem for a obscured soul
Wind is a bitter blow
Gauntlet's icy hold
Prolonged the cold

Events transpired,
Such that brought down an empire
Whistling tone of his arrows
Embodiment of sparrows

Anywhere But Here

Dear God anywhere but here I pray,
both day and night with a sigh.
I just want to run far away,
away where I can be myself.
I want my life to be real,
not a life someone else has picked for me.
A beautiful life that I can live in,
a life I can grow in love and happiness.
Many times I have asked myself,
why is life so very hard and unfair?
I am still listening and waiting,
will the answer ever show up?
Maybe one day....

The Abstract World

Scam and hacking are common
As well as fake votes in canvassing
As well as the pursuit of happiness
All are abstract and spiritual
We live in a world of abstraction
Insafety and uncertainty
Even if we have a lot of money
We cannot buy happiness
Cannot discard sadness
And our possessions are subject to Scam and hacking
And our votes in hands
May not work
Oh
We live years
To find only this cruel fact
Of our once lovely world

Silent Hymn

She left no echo, made no sound,
Just folded time without a frown.
No curtain call, no loud applause—
Just grace departing without pause.

A hand once warm now gently still,
A final breath, a resting will.
And yet, her presence lingers on—
In morning light and dusk till dawn.

Soft is the way the faithful part—
A silent hymn within the heart.
No need for words, no need to cry,
Just love wrapped in a silent hymn.

In quiet grace, their spirits fly.
