were always asking for player 2

Does not mean what I thought
Ah, if only I brought more clothes
If only I got my books
If only I could keep what was mine

Father got full custody

My sister and I were too young
yet still we understood

Forty

Forty Lords a'leaping,
Forty bugs a'creeping
Forty forty year-olds,
With forty sad life tales.
Forty forty forty year-olds,
With their forty ales.

Sad Life 5

we arrive at a house
we are brought to the basement
a large room full of toys
next door, a bedroom
you will stay here the adults say
this is heaven

My Face Is Purple

My face is purple
As I hold my breath
Waiting for the next moment
That I may see you
I cut off my being
Because life without you
Is not life at all

Sad Life 9

the circus, hooray
but I do not go
instead I am locked away
with only a pot to pee in
I escape through the window to play in the yard
a permanent mark on my record

Sad Life 7

A temper tantrum
the adults don't care
they stick me in a corner and tell me to wait
I wait, until the sun has gone down
you may go to bed now
one of many late nights

Sad Life 16

Trampoline tickle fight
the older girls should have listened
I cried stop
they did not
And yet here I am on the porch
Wet bottom towards the world
begging for forgiveness?

Premium Member Her Sad Life

Hers might be sad
But I do feel bad
When I think about her
Living and laying
Saying thank you sir
And what can an ex do
To show her the truth
about the feelings
I had for you

Sad Life 19

We are selected by a family
we will finally have a home
we tour the place, and it's amazing
tree house, dollhouse, multi acre yard
We'll give you a call said the "parents"
but they never did

Girl and Cell Phone

Girl and Cell Phone

The phone was stuck to her ear.
Everyone she wanted to hear.
Every moment thus consumed,
Her life not resumed,
Sad life – it doth appear!

Salvation

All I want is pain.
Make my anger go away.
I can't take the torture I'm going through.
Make this horrible anguish of a life end.
I can't take life anymore.
Come rescue me, fallen angels, to salvation.

I Saw What You Did

i saw what you did
in your life but why
forget the good times in life
and go through the bad ones it will
always be strange to me to see you like
this till the day turns to night i will
always be by your side.

A Lovely Sacrifice

once severed from the vine of life
It's given to the love of thy eye
And as it slowly dies
Its cherished
Then lost with time.
To have served its purpose then tossed away
It's a sad life for a rose I'd say...

Sad Life 17

"She" burst in while I was changing
"Get Out" i scream, like a respectable person
Except I forgot, 9 year old girls without parents
aren't respectable, or people
half an hour I sat, shirtless in front to the window

He was my most ardent headshaker
Won’t work
Can’t work
You are too optimistic
Never been done

I could not imagine his life
No belief in what was possible
No faith in what could be
Such a sad life

But not mine to fix

How Beautiful It Is

How beautiful it is
That life is not fair
Wouldn’t you be bored
Always having your way?
Struggles sting but
Victory feels so much better
When you know what it is to suffer
No one said life is fair
Aren’t you thankful for that?

Premium Member Sad Life For a Child

Family life messed up
Do not feel safe
Do not feel loved
Yelling and screaming
Hitting and hurting

Mom says get out
Child is nine
Reality
It does happen

Who can help?
Take child?
Not grandma

Not you
Not me

What Makes . . .

What makes your life so un mundane
What makes you smile at times in vain
What makes all around so pleasant to hear
What makes us hold this world so dear
What makes life worth the trouble it takes
What makes joy so apparent and lucky

Broken Heart

suffering from a broken heart,
time doesn't heal all wounds,
how could our love come to an end,
I am missing you.

my life is filled with sorrow,
my life is filled with pain, I thought
we would last forever,
why did you walk away.

Torment tempests perish psyche
Anguished anger blazes the maligned mind
Seethes sad life to cinder cake
Agony ashes soar to fly far
Bleakness blurs dark despair
Enticed essence seeks solace in
Halcyon hope of rare rapture
