World Cup
Can you hear the roar of the crowd?
As they hang on the edge of their seats.
Can you see them scream?

Premium Member Sunday Afternoon
Soothing sounds of a Sunday afternoon
Low roar of the crowd, touchdown soon
Delighted children giggling uncontrollably

... at sweet blossoms and lily pads
his hands and mind fluttered

The windup of the pitcher,
The call of the ump,
The anger of the batter,
In these hallowed fields.

The cheer of good friends,
The closeness of family,
The kiss of my spouse,
In these hallowed fields.

Just how hard my family works

“Furlough Days” as they like to call it
A cut in pay as we like to call it…..

Here nor there, there are lots of little quirks…..

Now the budgets in trouble again, let’s make them pay

And pay

And pay again!

No more furloughs they said
(As cheers roar through the crowd) “Whhoohoo”
We will just make them pay for their PEBB…..
That’s what we dread...
