Sunday Afternoon

Soothing sounds of a Sunday afternoon
Low roar of the crowd, touchdown soon
Delighted children giggling uncontrollably
The family relaxing so comfortably
Morning paper around us suitably strewn

This is the Sunday afternoon I did not have until I grew up but I enjoyed it when I got to it.

Oh, I didn't either until I grew up. It was worth the wait, however.

The sound of the bat hitting the ball when watching a cricket match, while having a picnic..... contentment.

Great snapshot of so many Sunday afternoons, Milt. As comfortable as a nap in a hammock. Bzzzz, Gershon

Sounds wonderful. Now what I need is a tree on the other side! Thanks, gw.
