Premium Member It Leadeth Me Not To Green Pastures
My mask doth not inspire
  It maketh me perspire

Restricts my respiration
  Foileth my aspirations

Causeth naught but aggravation
  Leadeth me to consternation...

Holiday Cheer
Tis the season to be filled with overwhemling joy
No need for gifts, for I could ask for nothing more
I only unwrap these arms to that cold winter flesh
Even as my nose restricts the breeze the air never smelled so fresh...

Enigma
Life restricts my living,
Death prevents my end...
The world, a phantasm,
too much embargoes in it,
that neither let me fly, nor let me die....
The moments to cherish,
forever perish....
Am left with the debris of memories,
reminiscences that are blurred...

Within Themselves
The path to tread is hard to know-
When each person denies to show-

What they truly feel inside their soul-
With the things from others they stole-

People always go with the crowd-
Since with themselves their not allowed-

To express themselves, their own self restricts-
Of what they see, what of them depicts-...

A Wicking Tree
As the molecules expand in air
from the roots of the cold ground
to the warmer the branches where they bond

then it rain cool upward side
down the trunk to the roots because the underside of the branch bow up with pride
as it provide shade during summer hot tides

then falls the air temp and the constricts
the warmer root where it will be found
during summer chill , the trunk restricts...

Romeo and Juliet
Had Romeo and Juliet
Not died a tragic death, I bet
They’d both be old and fat and bored;
An early exit their reward.

For those who perish in their youth
(Unlike those longer in the tooth)
Leave mem’ries of themselves behind
Before their beauty has declined.

And thus, our thoughts of them stay fixed
In younger days, when life restricts
Decisions that they’d both regret,
Their destiny in dying’s debt....

Say, I Love You

My eyes move towards the hallow
Leaving the thoughts - nearly shallow

I know, your love is axiomatic
But the way you tie the knot
I get strangled in it

I am a free spirit, like the wind
I roam here and there on my own will
I am not that guy whom you can bind
I take charge on my own driving wheel

Altruistic love
Restricts me to be harsh - but
Continuously
You need asseveration
From me, to say, " I love you"

Saxophone
The cellar is his bleak repose,
in concert with the cockroaches and flies,
it's here he wipes his runny nose,
toils the day long, sunshine tries,

insinuates through rough and crumbled boards.
The colour of his skin constricts,
the bottom of the pile, his heritage affords
no more, the atmosphere restricts

his breath. It leans against the wall,
his tarnished, dusty saxophone,
a measure of the time when he stood tall,
cadenzas, and his free and strident tone....
