Defaulting on all past
and future sins
The weight of their debt,
—the present rescinds

Loosened in winds,
how returns are always in vain ...
Something rescinds,
as if by a leaving train
we stand at a loss.
Nothing leads back across

How could I forget your tender touch, my sweet love of spring?
Twilight stars that bring in night, such lonely nights of musing.
Songs I sing to alley cats, they listen’in somewhat confused.
To tunes that fill the empty steps that tap the wet concrete
Till the time completes, and tide rescinds away from earth’s embrace
I will patiently, take my wait and make joy in masquerade
Season of refreshing
The dead spring up alive
Their faces brighten up
Hope permeates the landscape
Beauty climbs to the top
Season of refreshing
The dying receive strength
There is a quantum leap
A brandish of colours
All expect a good reap

There’s an awakening call
An upsurge in fervour
Gloom rescinds and depletes
Pleasure meets endeavour

Mighty flames consume every question, each fear,
Clinging to the heart and soul with breathless grace,
Falling among the stars to erase each tear,
Endless light, stirring dark night’s gentle embrace.
Inspirations bleed through the soft, soundless winds,
Love like never before, darkness soon rescinds,
Healing and blessing, remembering to share,
Doubts relaxed by the spirit lost in prayer.
Out in the rain the restless winds
now moan as winter's pale rescinds.
The flowers at the window bay
are silent bells that stiffly sway
while marching on the roof begins,
a riot of a billion pins
that shatter all my disciplines.
I clasp my hands as if to pray
out in the rain.
I feel the breath of pardoned sins;
on tenterhooks this mid-March grins
its unborn promise. I'm away
to spread my arms in gleeful splay
and echo tales this cloudburst spins
out in the rain.
