Agile nostalgic time traveler retrieves
Reminiscence framing snapshots of mirage life,
Tucks deserted dream collage in album.
Torrent of cries ,
Roll out of your eyes ,
Tale was hardly true
Too sneaky to trace the clue,
Thunder flashes you by
Demon flies in your eyes.
You have place this time
warm memories in my heart
yet reminiscence
a reflection least forgot...
locked room a heart foremost not!

Monocrostic (Birthday of Miya Marasigan)
Light dusting of december snowfall.
Sweet reminiscence of youth comes to mind.
Immaculate slate, the past forgotten.
A fresh start wide open to possibilities.
G ray garbles glowed genealogy
R ays retain reminiscence royally
E mber emancipate ebullient eulogy
E missaries embraced equity
N ations nullified necromancy
Imagine No poetry
No photography
No music
do we know our own worth ?
a mean streak of yellow light emits
and dimmer eyeballs entail
with a soupçon of an onion reminiscence
Remembrances that are unique
Each one crafts a life-harrowing story.
Maintain a firm grip on them.
Sustain them in your spirit forever.
Retrace your steps every so often.
White fluffy clouds sailing in the sky
I used to wish I could float on them
Or may be eat them like candy floss
Now I don’t see them any more
For I am cooped up in my cabin
And over my screen bent low.
The red mist descends beyond horizon,
footprints of your visit yesterday linger on.
Nonchalantly the haze still fills up my senses,
reminiscence of your lyric still ornate my soul.

A tempest swept in,
transporting my thoughts
The past to the future,
and back to today
Recapturing memories,
beginning again
Untimed reminiscence
—the present relayed
(Dreamsleep: February, 2021)
I don't remember what I did, it's true,
the day before I fell in love with you.
I guess I might've been attending Shakespeare class
lamenting with Professor Pendergrass
the fate of Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague.
Aroma of Jasmine !
An ethereal essence:
Supreme ! Superfine.
Redolence entwines
on reminiscence.
Nostalgic memory
of bygone golden days.
VERGES OF TIME

hazy, nostalgic
receding, missing, ruminating
reminiscence, memorabilia, dream, destiny
waiting, enticing, unfolding

To Embrace The Unknown
…………………………………………………
What tomorrow may bring?
What of yesterday be of reminiscence today?
And of dreams to welcome the unknowing
Is there enough words in the voicing to say?

The Old Rocking Chair
I sink in reminiscence swinging on the old rocking chair once accommodating
grandpa and me on his lap.

Babe I am in love with you
You’re the best woman on planet
Wow I’m swimming in love
You’re a world to me
My heart is so deep for you
The reminiscence of us is intense
I can’t keep this to myself any longer
I love you I miss you.

In lonesome bouquet laced with lilt of love
lies embedded the frozen fragrance
of remote reminiscence,
enticing the defrosted solitary soul
to reflect someday the sunshine
in faded memory motif folded in warm embrace.
Tonight
darkness engulfs;
tranquility amour.
Fingering the eyes of your grace,
forever your beauty in my fancy;
stills the rush of entangled thought.
Faces in ebony night

Tree of Life . . .
It Nurtures the Soul
In a Time of Spiritual Growth
With a Soft Touch of Nature.
As a Reminiscence of letting us know;
"We all began Sprouting from Roots.
Proof that we are not Tools by Nature,
But by Slavery."
Old man dancing
Doing the soft shoe
As in days of yore!
Dancing with a shadow partner...
Reminiscence of glad times.
See him smile -
So what if he stumbles!
Soft shoe
Whirling to forgotten memories...
Court jester for the crowd!

Sometimes, I start to panic.
When I try to remember her-
As if reminiscence will revive her.
But remembering her only makes the loss more permanent.
Our last embrace was not perfect.
But it was all five of us…
Then it was all four of us.
