Whimsy

how whimsy can best be defined
relates to the home of each mind
in England it's easy
but Yanks make you queasy
protesting that humor's maligned.

Poetry

Poems speak, sing, murmur, rant; always from the heart,
Poetry provokes, relates, commands; it's art.
It doesn't require theory, strategy or too much time,
Just ink thoughts on the paper and scribble words that rhyme.

The Talebearing Donkey

Don't tell a tale
When you have nothing to tell,
Lest the tail be hung on the donkey.

This poem relates to someone spreading
gossip about a person without facts to back them up.
In the end they look like a foolish donkey.

Solomon's Curse

My Prose becomes better,
my Poetry gets worse
The pictures stay unpainted,
new words to the curse

Each line chosen mainly
for how it relates
A phrase to launch 1000 ships
—chapters overstate

Probable and Possible

Probable and Possible

Wonder how this relates to politics and news.

Absolute knowledge we could not refute,
And it did understand how to distribute;
Probable and possible,
And being responsible,
Contributing to character of an attribute.

Premium Member Zen Mode

an impulse arises
it relates to ego
we look at it
with curiosity
before dissolving
our pristine presence
in the boundaryless void

neither negating nor embracing
it is our vibrant nonchalance
that celebrates aliveness
moment to moment
without prejudice

Winning

Winning is so very cool,
Especially when you're at school,
If you lose, you should take it all in fun,
But it's so nice to win, it's like being out in the sun,
You want to run, and jump for joy,
If you're a girl, or even a boy,
I hope this poem relates to you,
Because for me, it's all so true.

Different Minds

Grown with a poisoned mind
Dirty and loaded with rubbish
I am always prepared for a run
To disappear and to vanish
For those around who expect
Routines to adjust
Though paths are to clash

Despite blood that relates
And similar faces
Minds that are poisoned
Are loaded with rubbish
And are not to adjust

Premium Member Procrastination

Listen to poem:
As I look back,
Like a refrain,
Those remnants strewn...
--Of a completists remains,

On yonder floor,
Indicates, the unsung pages,
References, an unbalanced score,
Whose unfinished notes,

Relates to wine as it ages,
So harken the procrastinator,
Fortuitous this day,
That will fulfill,

Of what belonged...
--to yesterday.

Original Blood

it has often been said
blood is thicker than water
meaning
your blood born relates
are what counts
they are stuck with you

not in this day and age
at least not always

and yet,
aren't we all related by blood
sharing the original blood
of the earth

how have we lost the way of life
in which all things are a part

help me out here
what has happened

Premium Member FONDLY REMEMBER SHE'S GONE-

Fondly the memories dissipated;
Nothing left but lost discerns and heartache;
Memories such one forgotten hated;
Gross bonding ne’ver more relates;
Away from sight darken light shuns low shines;

Letter markers express who’s laid to rest;
This who is beneath the grounds named so kind;

Premium Member Which Are the Silliest

Which are the silliest?
Seahorses or horses that see?
Which hops faster?
A grasshopper or a hopper full of grass?
Which would be more interesting to invite to tea?
A lady bug
or a lady that bugs?
Would you rather marry a praying mantis,
or a mantis, praying?
That last part is a tricky subtle gender
issue that relates only to praying mantises.

My Sister

My sister makes me laugh a lot
Which, in this day and age,
Is not an action in which
I do frequently engage.

When she relates a story,
Every inch of her takes part
And she cracks up all who listen
With her curse words off the chart.

We have sixteen years between us
And about 1,000 miles,
But the times we spend together
Fill with laughter and with smiles.

Sexual Fixation Vexation

I've got a little problem
Some say it ain't so bad
But, yeah, I got a problem
I can't get you out my bed.

Hiding under my pillow
Or vanishing
Beneath the sheets
The blame I place
relates solely
to my need for relief.

I got a
Sexual fixation vexation,
How can I clear my soul?
Of this
Sexual fixation vexation
It owns my mind
and body whole.

Goddess of My Soul....

Opulent veneered beryl eyes
lips of ruby tease the mind
pearly bright angelic smile
effervesent charm of child

Goddess of my dreaming soul
whispered songs to me below
love awaits as love relates
a joining of two lovers fate.....

Natures green and airy blues
our waters flow will meet up true
I sit and dream and think of you
as tommorrow waits to happen soon....

A Lot Within

We consume a lot within...

...We work hard to dump...

...This diction explored relates...

...With tone the sound resonates...

...The everyday...

...The treadmill...the grind...

...The treadmill syndrome...the grind...

...To shut the door...

...invoke the quiet...

...We suck it up...

...We consume a lot within...

...Side step...the Side step...

...We work hard to dump...
