Dormant Dreams
If I could rein in yonder cloud

Entwine with love's ethereal rope,

'Pon gossamer, sweet Eros wove

Heaven bound, we'd gaily float

As dormant dreams of bliss, awoke....

Equipped to write but not to share
Damn thoughts spill out somehow
Never with intention of soul to bare
Rein in, veil them, obscure them now!
Nonchalant I'll be if you express care
Ta-ra*, I'll exit with non-committal bow

*Informal British way of saying goodbye...

Waking In Dark
Stigmatized.
A drone kills a dove.
An aphrodisiac ?

Bashing the ground,
cajoling the sky.
Trapped in bed,

coupling in amber.
You want to rein in
moon, for a shout ?

And weather had the

You wanted to change the gender ?

Would not go near the dais.
Somebody

COPLA 84 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World

Unchecked Bad Guys will romp rampage
And turn World into warring ground :
Good Guys resist

At the height of summer advantage
Good Guys rein in secede no ground :
Soon comes the mist

Bad Guys bait entice fascinate
Give them the long swinging tight rope
To strangle in knots

Let not thoughts enmesh imbricate
In life and death struggles sans hope :
Bide time Yin rots

They bust their moves with untamed joy,
Their pride just beaming through.

Yet when self-consciousness begins,
They hold their true selves back
And spontaneity may never
Clamber back on track.

I love when Henry dances,
(He insists I join right in)
For no one watching can control
An ear to earlobe grin.

I dread the day embarrassment
Will rein in his delight,
‘Cause Henry’s dancing makes me feel
Like everything’s all right....
