Ever changing,
Rearranging its
Own melody...
Sweet now,
Ever flowing,
Never knowing
The end-rhyme.
April 2012
Cynthia
New scenes made from old bored trite,
Finding that that's our right,
For rearranging what we do best,
You and me and all the rest.
to boil and to stew
is a fine way to view,
all the shedding skin
she holds up to show,
that she is changing
yes - rearranging,
as does a leopard
no - no - NO!
Rearranging,
Our life is changing,
Each day arranging,
New thoughts to engage in,
In this world we play in,
Every moment is changing,
Life is always rearranging.
Rearranging my priorities
making more of family time
and less of time spent working
enjoying the little things that matter most
you live every day
so make the most of it
The element moving, changing
continually rearranging
Inspires me to stimulate,
awaken and invigorate.
Provoked by such a masterpiece
Artistry will never cease.
Evolving nature from all became
Paradoxically circling the same.
In VALEO am I a shell?
Almost like a living hell!
Who cares about what the devil says
He's only a false show-biz
But I know I'm slowly changing
Thoughts of damned are rearranging
For myself I will cheer
About to get out of here!
Form:
Rearranging discordant thoughts
memories fall in place
Like keys upon a Steinway
awaiting my embrace
Sharp notes lead, the flats behind
as I replay the past
Chords when struck connecting all
—in harmonies recast

Listen to poem:
Hand Me Down Past
David J Walker
As if to say
What if It came to pass
Taunting the future
With unproven ideas
Rearranging
the constellations
Rejecting
the hand me down past
As if to say
How quaint
And
Thank you
Anyway
Smaller in the rearview mirror
the past retreats from view
Perspective changing rearranging
the old supplanted new
Fading in a dying focus
dust beyond the wind
Blowing wild beyond our memory
—fates forgotten hymn

Pollution
Miracle Man
5/4/2024
The green party has their sights set on pollution,
expecting each country to make a contribution.
Our rules are changing,
causing life rearranging,
But desired results won’t come without execution.
life's not always easy,
but I smile anyway
over fifty-nearing sixty
a little bit of gray,
wrinkles around my eyes, forehead lines, signs of time-passing, transparent words,
cause I can handle the truth,
ever changing-rearranging
you see- I thrive
I'm alive.
The rules of old are rearranging
Today’s times are changing
Every person is in acceleration
In this act now think later society/rationality
Why cant we just slow down
Take a long look around
To see what we are missen
And go back to the days of reminiscen/reminiscing
Listen to poem:
The Prairies Flush
David J Walker
The colors flowed from his own brush
The prairie flush in scented and sacred hues
The earth tones framed in the deepest blues
Of an unrelenting evening sky
Always changing
Nonchalantly rearranging
Always in the eye
of the artist
My life is changing,
I have no objection,
my fate is rearranging,
in a new direction.
I'm scared and nervous,
that's to be expected,
but he's in the service,
so i'll be protected.
I must say im excited,
to see a forign place,
but ill truely be delighted,
to see his handsome face.
Haunted by the ghost of memories past
Leaving the mind as fragile as glass
Rearranging every thought
Confused and left feeling distraught
Unable to let go and forget
Drowning in a sea of regret
Life slowly slips away
Day by day
Praying searching and hoping to find a way
To find a way to escape

Those cold winter days
are reaching their end.
Spring's fast approaching
like a long lost old friend.
Those birds are singing
rearranging their nests.
Flowers are awakening
from their long winters rest.
The sun is peeking
from between the clouds.
It feels great to be alive
now that spring has arrived.
only gives me the time of day
when i stop giving mine.
only when i start to stray
am i ever asked to stay.
only while the tides are changing
does his life need rearranging.
i am real.
i am ever changing
and i feel
every inch he pulls away.
the distance grows each day,
and i'm shamed by all the times
i didn't walk away.
Deep river flowing
Where are you going?
You began as a trickle
Your whitecaps then ripple
Over the rocks you glide
Rushing,deep and wide
Always in motion
Bound for the ocean
Beside you I rest
Inside you I'm refreshed
Relentlessly rearranging
Landscape you're changing
Deep river flowing
Where are you going?
Fast and furious energy
Spinning into my orb’s flatness
A rotating funnel
It whirls and spirals
Rearranging what was
Mind reflected
In its menacing eye
Force fields emerge
Pressing together
Two lives
Fires once banked
Flame anew
Mindless of what should be
What is emerges
Love’s tensile strength transmuted
KDK
I'm spreading my falling leaves
It's time to put my hood up
And wear long sleeves
All my feelings are changing
My mood is rearranging
It's time to turn a new leaf
I need to find some relief
From this constant stress
Of summer
It was such a bummer
It was too hot
I wanna get caught
In this cool weather
And feel brand new forever
I'm forever spiraling in your grasp
I look off into space and gasp
I suppose I must leave for your sake
I don't want to break down in agony...
My life's not at stake...I'm crying a lake...
I just want to be free from vanity...
I'm forever changing
And also rearranging
I take a glimpse at the rising sun
Waiting until the break of dawn

River,
rippling refrain,
rushing, rolling, revived,
ribbons of rain rearranging
rocks, roots, reflections — reckless, radiant.
Rivulets ripple, ringing rhythms
resound, reaching, reeling
rousing rare range —
River.
onward in spiral
eternity is viral
where nothing's final
constantly rearranging
existence ever changing
endless living stream
this state which all deem being
in heavenly scheme
riding through expanding space
as part of the human race
constantly a must
to reality adjust
dust to cosmic dust
more than educated guess
futures lie within process
The Enigma
Dec. 2016
It works
Not with pieces you can touch
but still, in pieces.
Circuits and gears collide
Singed and fried
With
In
Sometimes I need
help
and at others, I am able
to strive
to tear
myself into
this puzzle
that continues
Changing
And
Rearranging
It
Self.
