Aging

life's not always easy,
but I smile anyway
over fifty-nearing sixty
a little bit of gray,
wrinkles around my eyes, forehead lines, signs of time-passing, transparent words,
cause I can handle the truth,
ever changing-rearranging
you see- I thrive
I'm alive.

It has been said that wisdom comes with age. What is more precious than life itself? A harsh reality brought into focus by the passing of time. I agree with your reasoning, Poet. Great penning!
