Reality

Reality bites if we let it.
Each sould try to forfit
Always trying to avoid
Limitations on accumulations.
Instead live realistically.
Treat the world holistically.
You will benefit immensely.

Premium Member The Silent Movie

A silent movie
Maybe silent realistically
Or not silent metaphorically
Silent
Because not verbal
Not silent
Because with movements
Not silent
Because appealing
Silent
Because there are no immediate actions
And without man's sympathy
Response and cooperation
A silent story
May eventually die silently

Premium Member Brief Letter To America

Dea America.

Most times, you make me smile.
Sometimes, there's a joyful laugh.
Occasionally, I mourn for you as
Sadness and tears fill my heart.
There are forces trying to tear us apart.
But realistically, we belong together.
The future I see is one with you and me.
So, let's just go forward together.

Gemmed Realms

Odyssey emerging
Like an awakening dream,
Capitulation to its beauty…
To what realistically seems,
A grasping route of anticipation,
Fervor, and all that’s supreme,
A grasping route of blindness,
Where desires stream...

Surmising, guising, a life
Visualized…
Life is a chain of yearnings,
Where we all fantasize…

Another Opinion

Intriguing as some things sound
beware, for it is easy to be the fool.
Listen to your heart
   keeping both eyes open.

Life is but a game
   and everyone a player.
Realistically,
   there are no rules.

The only truth that really matters
is the belief you hold within.
Survival is not the goal,
  happiness is.

Pilgrims

Pillage and plunder, have your fill
Indifference to my screams as you kill
Living with the guilt, though you forget
God hasn’t forgiven. No, oppressor. Not yet.
Realistically we had this land, it was already discovered.
I alone founded it. Leif found us uncovered.
Me and mine treated it well and the planet loved us.
Spanish crusaders, English invaders, now my land shrugs us.

Time

Time
Gone quicker than a drop of a dime
Crime
To turn its juices sour like a lime
Go purely bitter
Then life's always in the dumps
There's gratitude
In a positive attitude
Dissillusion
In a flawed vision
Life ain't always wonderful and cheery
Nor dreadful & dreary
Combine the two
Aware of the clue
When these ends meet
It's not truly bittersweet.
Rather
Realistically Optimistic

Premium Member I Shall Paint a Colorful Bull

I shall draw and paint a colorful bull the artist said.
Her parents thought she had gone daft in her head.
Draw it realistically, suggested her farmer dad.
Her mother kept her counsel to herself, the girl was glad.

The girl had confidence, and she knew her mind.
She painted a bull that was one of a kind.
Sold it for over two thousand dollars today.
I imagine she is glad she did not throw her idea away.

Premium Member Altruism

Anybody can do a good deed.
Just help someone in need.
You can do it. Anyone is able.
Is there anyone short of food on the table?
Do you know someone with a physical disability?
Are there persons unable to live their lives daily?
We must all act altruistically.
It is the thing to do realistically.
Let’s share what we have with help and charity.
Do whatever you can. There is no ceiling.
Doing good deeds renders a good feeling.

The Soupie !

Vicariously
Brilliantly
Gregariously
Ambitiously
Eagerly
Writing words from day to day

Vehemently
Humbly
Fervently
Instinctively
Understanding
Learning what others have to say

Profusely
Intensively
Literally
Reflectively
Philosophically
Reading each other’s poems undercover

Openly
Honestly
Realistically
Copiously
Liberally
Commenting our thoughts to one another~

Dream Filled Night

Dream filled Night

Like the river flows tirelessly
And the fishes swim continuously
Up the sky, the star shines brightly
So shall your dreams romantically

Let your inner mind see vision
That of a future passion
Sleep tight in thy mansion
And indeed inside thy cushion

Thy dreams are no illusion
But realistically an expression
So shall it become thy tradition?
Let thy love flow without intrusion

Let passion thy friend be
And thy heart unbreakable

Realistically Speaking

Realistically Speaking
By Nate Spears

Realistically speaking
A kiss
Is a pinch of pleasure
My heart reflects your light
My star, so bright
In my arms, we're alright
Together
Students of love tonight

For you,
My heart is a full moon
Not half, but whole
Warm as the sun on a Florida marsh
I'm at peace by your side
Pulled closer to your heart by gravity

Our chemistry
Our kisses
Our union
I will
Hold it
Cherish it
Love it

My pleasure in you will be
Forever
And for constant

To Know You Were Proud

You are the stars in the sky
As every night I look above hoping to catch your eye
Pretending you will one day give me direction

Knowing realistically how disappointed you would be in all of us
As we all continually struggle
And I hope to find my way
With the thoughts of how you see me in today
Preying it gives me a reason to find the fields with butterflies
To find the contentment and knowledge of knowing without a doubt
You would be proud of me and the daughter you created
