Crossed My Mind

The noisy squeaks are just another sign
of sneakers of the running kind
my random thought
again has crossed
the street in my quagmired mind

Meaningless Rhymes-1

Never deal in cents to lose your drip,
Watch and feel the legends and pay a trib.
Mighty sword bends by the force of nib,
Lost sight of the shore and winds left the ship.

Writer’s block

A pen, a paper, a random thought
like a stray bird in the net is caught,

Writhing like the fish out of river
Probe, explore, analyze, deliver…

Unravel, ere it escapes or dies
impregnated by the muse in disguise.

Random Thoughts

Random thought -
first thought,
you are my treasure...

Random thought -
second thought,
you are my pleasure...

Random thought -
third thought,
you are my forever...

Random thoughts -
loving thoughts...
no one will sever.

If You Lived Here, You'D Be Home Now

"you had a place in my past,
then life and time happened
and now, you have a place in my present
i wonder
after time and life happens again
will you have a place in my future"
                                                  - A RANDOM THOUGHT, WITH YOU IN MIND

Random Thought 4

I have seem plants on the brink of death,
Yellow and wilting, with limp stems losing the battle against gravity
And yet I have seen these same plants thrive again
I have seen them rebound and stand erect, flourishing in the sunlight
And if they can regain their vitality, then so can I.

A Random Thought

The rustle of leafs, imitates the sound of the rain.
Engrossing us from listening to,
The wind whispering to the trees.
A secret so fragile that if heard by un-pure mind,
It would wither.
The winds said “One apple tree growing in the desert makes a phenomenon,
But many make a paradise.”

Woven Lines

What is it that causeth then

This urge to sit and raise a pen,

Words that dwell inside our head

Seem better written down than said.

Into a mind from who knows where

A random thought plucked from the air

Brought woven lines beyond mere thought,

From unknown depths, are verses wrought.

Random Thought 3

The way that our sun is seen from many different positions
And is known by many different names across the universe
So are you
But just like our sun only a relative few know you up close
And while the others may admire you from afar
Only those few have truly realized all of the warmth and the light you can bring.

A Random Thought

We will never get what
we deserve
from the world we live in

We will never get what
we dream
from the mind we think in

We will never get what
we love
from the heart we feel in

We will never get what
we need
from the body we walk in

Until there is
nothing that we want

We will never
get what we deserve

Michell

And some may say her eyes are sexy, but no ,though true I think those eyes are deep ,telling a story with just a look..some may say her lips are kissable ,again though this may be true ,those are the lips that speak the truth..Her smile ,yes that smile captivates ,whilst true ,that smile can disarm the coldest heart ..She is just Michell..

On a Foreign Shore

Time has told me
the error I must find
Time has asked me to ask for no more

Where's the lightness I seek
A rose without a thorn
is no option
Things I could say
Time well tell you

To bear beside me
Even ways you need to laugh
leave me in stitches

Time has told me
A random thought
for a troubled man
A distant ocean on a foreign shore
how they came and go

What

What if I do not write
anything?
I already recorded the
date and time, just in
case my pen moved.
What if I did not smoke
this cigarette?
Would I be sitting here,
recording dates and times,
and talking about writing?
What if I never wrote that?
What about if you think you're
reading my poetry?
A random thought, perhaps?
Or a jinx of the mind.
A labyrinth of questions.
Seeking to amaze you.

Random Thought Pattern

i'm not
here for
the riot
but to
write
it if

i can
throwing
back a can
of unexploded
tear gas because
i'm not wearing a

gas
mask

no i
know
i'm sure
my photo
is now being
shown on mass

media but i don't
need exposure
or the cover
of TIME
to tell

you
that
i'm
me
and
will

always
be me
but the
times
do change
as so do i

but
i'll
still
be
me
no

matter what's
the matter

A random thought, strange lines are drawn
Starbursts exploding in the brain
Parallel pathways amp the gain
From small to shrimp, from shrimp to prawns
Tangentially, another dawns
Möbius-like, it loops again,
    a random thought.

Eternal Now, it is explained,
sees ere I was till long past gone.
Now that’s a thought to linger on…
So did I now just entertain
    a random thought?

Greatest Love of All

Such a great love from strangers
Past stale love potsherds
Like a mist it ceased abruptly
Though it seemed unlikely

Poignant memories linger
Cool-hot embraces are no longer
Who is lost in the love’s muddle now?

But why me and how?

An elegy I earnestly draft
To mourn a love full of rot
When no one even thought
It’d end up as a random thought
That is vivid in the mind for a moment
And flies up to memories long lost

Not a Moment Too Soon

I did a little reading,
 scanned the poetry of others bleeding;
okay, I did a lot
 many hit the spot,
You know the one with hope
 where everything you wrote
is not near as good as those you read
 not even the random thought in your head;
a smile, a laugh, a gathering of tears
took me back in time to better years
that spoke the words poetic
written on the page to bloom rejected
then finally some inspiration
 not a moment too soon.

Random Thought

I think that we forget how to be human, after awhile.
Our feelings harden, due to the other non human beings who cause us to build
walls. These walls tend to keep out the actual humans who, just maybe, love us.
The innocent who, just maybe, love us are also hardened because of the
inhumane treatment put on upon by the first party.
In conclusion: This goes around and around and around. Humans causing each
other to hate, fear, and harden.

A Vamperial Thought

A random thought goes through my head
Am I covered head to toe red
What will happen when I awake
Will my heart be split with a stake
I lie pale in my coffin bed

Here I lie peaceful with the dead
My coffin bed is made of lead
But my thought is on my heartbreak
A random thought

What was it that my young lass said
Before she filled my heart with lead
"If my life is what you will take
Please let me see the next daybreak"
And that is when my head filled with dread
A random thought
