The Words Are Wrong
The Words Are Wrong

The words are wrong, in this Radiohead song;
The words are wrong, in this Radiohead song.
The words are wrong; she wears me out.
The words are wrong, in this Radiohead song.

Meet Me Halfway
As loving you no longer lingers,
Against my hand of broken fingers
Of which I've washed the Past away
(The second skin I've shed today!)
To block, to shield, to guard- protect!
But will it last the length to trek?
I'll run right and you leap left,
Our rendezvous to be discreet
Forward, backward we progress-
And in the middle we will meet

My clothes today provide a license
I have an air of mystery
That's exactly on the right side of quirky
My hair can be slightly tangled and look pretty
The way the light is twilight all day positions me into belonging
Of course I ate a whole teaspoon of mustard and 5 cornichons so you can trust nothing I say, I've somatically danced to Creep by Radiohead and am in the "hair blown by the wind" phase of feel good
I offer this prescription to anyone feeling out of sorts
You're welcome...

Radiohead
when music associations
hinder your daily cultural existence and evolution,
you cringe at the sound of a lyric.
heart breaks just a bit,
like a rotting house,
cracking,
yearly reaching an inch,
and over time,
accelerating in speed.
but then you come to a hault,
a conscious self identifying conclusion,
that in fact you might, just might,
get the **** over it.
you do.
you then find yourself,
singing the tune,
inside your brave skull.
hmmm hm hm hm mm m
ooooouuuu yea.
thank you....
