Pearl
what a girl
that Pearl
so naive
so true
life's been cruel
made her blue
dragged her down
left a scar
but there she is
shiny red
racing car...

The Weird Racing Car
The weird racing car

The car was driving on the thin track,
Oh no, the car bumped into a leather sack.
The driver limped out of his car,
Only to find some children eating tartar.
Am I going mad, the driver thought,
As he saw some goats gloat.
The driver started to scream...
As a huge machine started to spill on him, fresh cream....

Premium Member My True Love
My true love
promised me
a car
a Jaguar
Mind you
British racing car
blue

My true love
promised me
a coat
Cashmere
True wool
from Pashmina
goat

My true love
promised me
a dance
slow with soul
wet like sweat
or rain
in winter

My true love
promised me
a song
Flawless like
Minnie Riperton
Yet so sad
Still riveting...

Premium Member A Sausage Tale - Not In a Gale
Three cocktail sausages jumped out of a tin
Off they went in a Ferrari for a spin
The weather was perfect, the ride a breeze
Everything was going well, until one sausage began to sneeze
Sweat dripped down the sausage's skin
It fell out of the racing car and wished it were back in the tin
The big wheels of a jeep almost crushed it but the wind blew it away
And nobody ever found it until today...

Please Be Mine
My heart is playing love’s guitar
Please make me warm like a heater

Let me drive your life’s racing car
Don’t change I like the way you are

Words are coming out in my eyes
Stare at my eyes please be so nice

If I see you I smile a lot
Flowers bloom in my tub of thought

Baby let me live in your heart
Perfect match never break apart

I am yours baby please be mine
You are like my life’s sweet sunshine...

Wildfire
A smoldering ember lying in wait
tossed thoughtlessly from the window
of a racing car.
The parched forest floor teems with life
now waits as it grows
slowly at first then quickly
with it's own agenda...
to consume everything it touches.
It is fanned by the zephyr
running wildly through the hills
it ebbs and flows with the land
taking homes and lives alike
stopping only at the water's edge.
It has only one name...
wildfire....

We Can'T Please
Oh King and Queen!
Read these verses
From deep within
Take you to a place
Where I was
I write poems
Not to please anyone
Like to share things
To a royal one
I can express thoughts
Like a racing car
They can say things
To break my pen
Got a new one
To write poems again
Learn to accept
We can’t please anyone
If they so like it
I thank everyone
So read it please
Oh King and Queen!
I will accept comments
From deep within...

We are
We are, we are
Brighter than a shooting star
We are, we are
Faster than a racing car
We are, we are
Louder than a speaker bar
We are, we are
Stronger than we think we are
Smarter than we know we are
More beautiful with all our scars
We are, we are
Flying high to reach the sky
an energy that never dies
Magic from the very start,
Created with a beating heart
Molded from a cosmic fart
We are, we are
A magic piece of living Art
