Skin
I almost felt you
for a minute
Before the rush hit me full force
and your face became blurry
and all the aches in my heart decided
to quiet down...

The Tongue of Men and Angels
Did Heaven show me confidence,
The words to quench my thirst?
Did I reject what could've been,
Another written verse?
If everything around,
Is a noise that's way too loud,
To hear my vocal sound,
Make the world quiet down....

Lyric
Through My Window
As the falling rain trickles on window
The sound had come back again
In this quiet down room
A canvass created through my window
Tracing heart with my finger
Slowly fades away

Come Home
So, you are in jail,
no, I will not pay your bail.
Your mental illness
made me the villainess
in your life.
You ran away,
refused to stay
when I said your delusions
would follow like lumens
in your mind.
My hope is now you're confined
the voices in your mind
will quiet down,
perhaps will drown,
and allow you to come home.

Lullaby
Softly sing to me
Soothingly I'll leave
I'll look at your reflection
But quiet down
I won't return
So don't look
I'll leave you be
I'll leave you soon
But softly sing to me
A quiet sweet lullaby
Softly speak
Don't yell
Quiet down
I'll whisper
Soothingly I'll leave
But promise I won't
Promises never
Same as you......

Ballade
...Or Somebody's Gong To Get Hurt.
i worry for you.
beneath my skin.
where you cant feel
and i cant hear.
your canal my ear.
speak louder
hear less.
quiet down.
my broken english
means
::unimportant arrangements::
for you..
and nothing more
i'm nothing more.
some sick excuse
stuck between your teeth
with all the unracked guilt
left over from your...
care.
my love....

The Vampire Ix: the Fix
This cold steel
Tastes like caramel
My Saviour
Oh my saint
This bullet
Is my caravel
For this trip
I cannot wait
This wholly
Unholy suture
For my deepest
Darkest pain
Is a beautiful
Lack of future
To quiet down
My mental rain
Vainly I hunted
For the devil
For the man
Who ruined my life
Now accomplished, I sit
With this gun in my mouth
The hunt’s over
The devil is I...

Road Trip
R olling down the freeway, for hours and hours on end
O n our much anticipated family vacation,
A ll us kids were joking, yakking, singing songs and snacking,
D azzled by scenic routes and filled with youthful elation.
T old by Dad to quiet down, we simply couldn’t do it.
R eally, what did he expect eight rowdy kids to do?
I nside that station wagon we were squeezed in like sardines.
P aradise at last arrived: to the restrooms we all flew!...

Loud and Proud T
T almost always comes in loud and proud
One of five loud and proud boys at his house
I ask him to quiet down twice.
Then I move to his lunch table.
One of his seat mates protests….
by pointing out another boy at the next table who is loud.
I say “Louder than this child?” The mate glares and nods.
I ask T, “Do you think he is louder than you?”
T spits out his milk. He cannot quit smiling.
I get up to leave when it gets quiet.
Mr. Loud and Proud protests, begging me to stay....
