Postmodern Girl Can Scream Out

postmodern world
they have rights
freedom is liberal choice

now a girl can scream out,
"Give me freedom, I won't be an aborted girl; I won't be a killer! "

Premium Member Liquid Silence

Liquid pellets
Pellets slam
Slam gently
Gently into
Into the
The leafy
Leafy mire
Mire seeking
Seeking sanctuary
Sanctuary on
On vandalized
Vandalized park
Park benches
Benches retreating
Retreating into
Into gentle
Gentle liquid
Liquid silence

Premium Member say

Say you love me
like I love you
often and always
a million times
embrace me
consume me
burn me with kisses

If you go deaf
I will stop listening
If you go blind
I will stop looking
If you die
I will stop living

Premium Member Storms Happen

storms happen
happenstance stomps
selfish selfies inherit the wind
windmills become grist for the mill

Armageddon trending now
Utopia is Merriam-Webster's Word of the Day
go figure (& lie about the figures)
too many figurative flies in the proverbial soup

words float like moths to the factoid
sting like a bumbling bezoar
fly like a flock of birdbrains
put that in your pipe & tweet it

Premium Member Deliverance ---

over there..>
lost time leaking away

collapse not into temptation
grant me/us peaceful solitude
deliver us/me from erratum
inert/confined/lost
entangled in a weary knot
buried in dusty debris
suffocated by icy cobwebs
burned & frozen
begging for deliverance
longing for liberation
yearning to be untangled
thunder over water
deliverance?

lost life leaking into the past

I rest my case
on a house of cards
(that)
hit the nail on the head
(of) the nail in the coffin
(that)
hit the ground running
where the rubber hits the road
(while)
time flies when you’re having fun
in the nick of time
(and)
all’s well that ends well
all is fair in love and war
(let’s not forget that)
the writing’s on the wall
it could be worse
(as)
the light at the end of the tunnel
is a perfect storm after the calm

Taxes Tea Postmodern

get a job
get a wife
and a cheap PC
 things
to survive postmodern strife
living in a world after LSD
the world so deranged
I've come to get my diagnosis
so they can capitalize on my illnesss
and all the things I'd rather be
in this state slavery's cheep
a world so deranged
how dose it sleep
where's my money Mr. tax man
the idiot king is fat
and his teeth are black
so let his cream of Texas float
and darken all the oceans
so I can drive to work

Premium Member Eclipse This

eclipse an errant eon
inhale discordant ions
exhale insectile icons

disarm misfiring memes
take umbrage under a titanic umbrella
recede from seething red-holes in sinkholes

just so you know…
Helga and Zohar orbit the Moon
a harsh mistress giggles indifferently
a cold cosmos says nothing
you are (not) what you think (you are)

forbid fallacious words
forget wordy fallacies
forgo fatuous wormholes

FYI, it’s Awesome
FWIW, it's Perfect
TBH, it’s FUBAR

Entropy

A dignified statesman,
A deified ‘Godman,’
A glorified star (of films or sports)
All tumble—
After a Starr report
Or an HIV test
Or a dope test.
Or maybe a Watergate
Or a Coalgate.
Media reports or media hype?
Whistle blowers
On whistle blowers—ad infinitum.
God and my God are antithetical?
Is rape the norm—
Where Rama and Sita are worshipped?
Whatever your belief,
Call it Postmodern Era
Or Kali Yuga
Or what you will,
Will entropy be the norm?
