Own spears of ice that droop in shade.

From trees with furrowed ruts and grooves
The flakes that fall on garden stones
Are tiny angels heaven sends
To grace moonlight with quiet moves....

Shining down on objects,

sunbeams ink dark shadows.

Shifting and pooling, they

silently take on shape,

stealthily gaining ground.

Swallowing day’s last rays,

soon, they morph into night.

Sometime a tone will make me weep
i gulp it back
trying to be discreet
when alone feel the drips
pooling at my feet
rub my eyes
lying its just lack of sleep
feel my turmoil
twist and turn
regurgitate
but somehow push it down
