The Hollow Bones of Pain

Black claws slicing
rivulets of dark dismay
collecting
in the bottom
of
my soul
pooling
    pooling,
       pooling

overflow of hot regret
foul remorse
eating swiftly through
my heart and mind
just to find....
the hollow bones
of
     pain
