What polishes

one's character and transforms it,

from a rough diamond to a gem, is

education!

I Have It
i have it
like Dave's name
a wonder gadget
that polishes sorrow
a flower sobs
nothing remains salt
rappelling through trees
seeding my womb
nothing remains globs
anywhere anymore anytime...

A Warning
It seems as though death erases one's sins
Polishes his or her life so that it reflexes in the best of lights.
This can be a dangerous thing.
We must be careful to seperate actions from talent
 It is OK to like the music and not the man....

Invisible
There’s a Bug in the Sky
That Bites the Moon.
There’s a Painter in Sun
Who paints Green Leaves Brown.
Earth is a Zoo full of Humans
Created by Distant Aliens.

Air has an Invisible Pocket
That holds all the Elements.
Who Polishes the Stars?
Who Blows the Wind?
There’s a Poet in Everybody
Who Sleeps all the Time....

The Witness
I testify
 for my own person:
I’m the guest, which got to the castle
at the last moment and,
 every time and everywhere,
I  was the last.
Nobody following me
excepting my shadow, which keeps my umbrella when it rains,
or polishes my shoes, or holds my mantle. And no, nobody else on my trace,
so I can’t explain who and why
killed me....

Waterfall of Love
The love that flows in You
cascades out and all about;
I try to capture that love
with eager, open arms --
every day at your waterfall.
The rush of your love is felt
like pristine water against rock;
each moment in loving You
polishes the roughness of me.
I forever desire to be drenched...
at your waterfall of love.

Wish
Do pebbles love the
     stream that polishes them?
Is the gurgle heard
     in a lazy brook. . .love poetry?
Do waves caress
     the shore like touch on hem?
Are rasping cattails
     singing to the willow tree?

What messages are there
     that humans never hear?
Silent sonnets that swim by
     like red and gold koi fish?
Amorous notes float about
    invisible, they are so near
Perhaps they catch a sun ray,
     at least that is what I wish....

Seeds of Spring
From window to window, greener than green;
Beauty emerges excited to be seen.

Rain washes away and wind polishes the scape;
Lives held captive bonds' agape.

Warmth from above,  remnants past from below;
Dainty fragile bursts of creation begin to grow.

Light penetrates longer and longer;
Whilst all of beauty dances stronger and stronger.

Caught up in all things great,
     And diminutive anew;
Grasping my own fate,
     What shall I do?...

Jewels
Upon a peripheral somewhere
Iridescent crow wings
Scatter ice particles
   patches of air shatter

Sunlight sweeps the snow
Diamond blue blooms
   Splinters the senses

Frosted meanderings
Engrave the creeks seeping waters
   A sharp air polishes

Small owls emerge from snow drifts
Hunted fieldmice scatter
   F ox sniffs the scurrying

A newly unearthed sky pauses
Whiteness sprouts
    Speckled rubies

Life stutters
Shimmers back
    Moves on...

This Rock, My Earth and Me
my Goddess entwines
love and the kind
of encouragement
worthy of Thor

on a pedestal of pure
Athenian marble
she inscribes
my tablet

chipping away
a bit everyday
the imperfections
are revealed with time

molding this rock
as malleable clay
with the hands of a sculptor
divine

and with the patience of Job
in negligee
she polishes blemish
away

earth and life are symbiotic
poisoning one destroys two
believing not betrays
the host that takes an oath...
