The Witness

I testify for my own person: I’m the guest, which got to the castle at the last moment and, every time and everywhere, I was the last. Nobody following me excepting my shadow, which keeps my umbrella when it rains, or polishes my shoes, or holds my mantle. And no, nobody else on my trace, so I can’t explain who and why killed me.
